Gear up for the biggest game of the year with these Super Bowl parties and dining specials around town. 

Commonwealth Tavern 

"Table-gate"

Football fans will enjoy an indoor tailgate with Commonwealth Tavern's "Table-gate Party Package" on Super Bowl Sunday. The $50 (normally $65) spread includes a dozen wings, nachos, cheese curds, soft pretzels and a bucket of Miller Lite and Coors Light bottles.

From open to close, Commonwealth will also offer brunch cocktails including a $3 Build-Your-Own Mimosa Bar with various fruits and juices and a $6 Build-Your-Own Bloody Mary Bar stacked with hot sauces, veggies, meats and more.

Joy District and Parlay at Joy District 

Private Igloo Super Bowl Viewing at Joy District

Chicagoans can catch all the big game action at Joy's Winter Wonderland in private heated igloos set against a city background with views of River North. The igloos seat up to 8 guests around a heated faux fire pit and are decorated in shades of white, light blue and silver with string lights, ornaments, winter props, blankets and more. Each igloo will be equipped with one 32-inch TV that will broadcast the Super Bowl.

Joy District's first floor mezzanine will also be available for private parties (up to 34 guests seated and 60 guests reception-style) featuring a private bar and two private 45-inch TVs.

Football fans hosting parties at home can let Joy District do the cooking with catering options from Executive Chef Jason Hedin. The game day to-go menu features appetizers, entrees and sides ranging in price from $50 to $200 featuring items like Lamb Meatballs with spicy tomato sauce, Ribs, Turkey Chili, Wings (Asian, bbq, buffalo or lemon pepper), Beer Mac and Cheese, Sliders (filet, double stack, pork or lobster), Truffle Fries and more. All orders must be placed 72 hours in advance. Minimum order of $250 for delivery; delivery charges apply. Super Bowl Sunday Brunch and Viewing Party at Parlay

Parlay at Joy District will host a "Brunch So Hard" Super Bowl pre-party from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. For $50 per person, guests will enjoy a brunch buffet and mimosa bar. Created by Executive Chef Jason Hedin, brunch highlights include a carving station, seafood table and charcuterie, chili and pizza bar, waffle station, egg station, and dessert selections like cake pops, tartlets, brownies and a variety of Rice Krispie treats from Fruity Pebbles to Lucky Charms. There is also a cereal bar and a donut wall with flavors like powdered sugar, sprinkles, chocolate and vanilla.

Starting at 5 p.m., guests can catch all the big game action with sound on 21 TVs ranging from 60-inches to 100-inches as well as one 200" projector screen. There will be food and drink specials and a half-time giveaway. General admission tickets for $10 each include guaranteed entry and one beer, wine or well cocktail. All-inclusive tickets for $75 each include guaranteed entry, beer, wine and well cocktails for the duration of the game and one appetizer per ticket. Limited tickets are available. Old Grounds Social 

Tailgate Buffet

Old Grounds Social in Lincoln Park will host a Tailgate Buffet in honor of the Super Bowl on Sunday, February 3. From 6:30 p.m. until the end of the game, guests will enjoy a $50 all-you-can-eat tailgate buffet and open bar package. Created by new Executive Chef Craig Larson, the buffet will feature items like sliders (cheeseburger, pulled pork, shrimp po boy, truffle grilled cheese), roasted jalapeno and chicken eggrolls, smoked wings (BBQ, Texan or curry served with choice of dipping sauces), salads and more. The big game will be shown with sound on 24 60-inch TVs and prizes will be given away at half-time. Space is limited. Roanoke Restaurant 

Super Bowl Pregame Happy Hour

  • $3 to $7 happy hour specials

Guests who visit Roanoke Restaurant and post up in the bar area will be treated to a pregame happy hour from 1 p.m. until the end of the game. Drink specials will include half-price bottles of select wine, $6 Tito's Vodka cocktails and a $5 shot and beer pairing. The game day happy hour food menu will feature buffalo wings, carvery sliders, chips and guacamole, and spinach dip, available for $6 each. Guests who stick around can watch the big game on all five TVs in the bar area and 11 TVs in the upstairs lounge with sound on.

Drawl 

Drawl, a southern cookhouse and whiskey room at 2423 N. Clark Street in Lincoln Park, is offering a large format to-go Super Bowl menu. Drawl offers a menu of southern staples from Chef Justin Stadler characterized by a modern, seasonal twist.

Bar Cargo (605 N Wells), a River North pizzeria, Roman-style street pizza with Italian-American craft cocktails.  The $40 wristband special includes a drink package with select beer & wine and a sideline spread of signature cargo pizzas and bar bites from 5:30pm-8:30pm. Highlights include Giardiniera Wings, Hot Hot Hot pizza with pachino tomatoes, chile, garlic, tomato sauce, no cheese, and The Chicago with Italian sausage, red and green peppers, tomato sauce.

Staytion Market & Bar 

The game might be on TV, but as Staytion Market and Bar (1 W Wacker Dr) can attest, it’s all about the feast. Guests who aren’t afraid to get a little messy can nibble on Pickle Brined Buffalo Wings accompanied by heirloom carrots, celery, and smoked blue cheese dip. Chicken wings are just one element of the finger-friendly snacks. Staytion’s tender, Smoked Koval Bourbon-Maple Pork Ribs with dry rub and house pickles, bring a sweet and savory element to the table. All slider enthusiasts are just in luck too - black pepper beef sliders topped with a dose of bacon aiolo, Antihero IPA Mustard, and a refreshing, red cabbage slaw. Festivities start at 11 a.m. sharp and will run through 12 a.m.

State and Lake Chicago Tavern 

State and Lake Chicago Tavern, 201 N. State St, believes the Super Bowl is worth celebrating. Aside from the beers on tap, guests can broaden their taste buds with the $10 Chicago Flight featuring Wild Onion Radio Free Pilsner, Half Acre Daisy Cutter Pale Ale, Solemn Oath End All IPA, and Spiteful GFY Imperial Stout. For just $15, State and Lake will offer a classic Diner Burger topped with fry sauce, shredded lettuce, onions, American cheese, and pickles, along with a Tallboy and shot.

Headquarters Beercade

The Big game will be broadcasted throughout the bar on HD projectors and TVs with sound. HQ will also offer $3 Founders Gold Solid, $4 drafts and $5 HQ signature IPA cans. Free cover.

Get the whole family involved this Super Bowl Sunday. For just $20 per adult, guests can indulge in unlimited spaghetti + meatballs, caesar salad, garlic bread and soft serve ice cream.
