State and Lake, theWit’s tavern-style restaurant, is debuting two specials – State and Lake’s Ultimate Chicago Bloody and a shareable State and Cake Sundae.

Available on Sundays throughout the summer, these two culinary creations from Chef Michael Taus include:

  • State and Lake’s Ultimate Chicago Bloody: the Ultimate Bloody Mary blends shallots, garlic, fennel, celery, and a myriad of spices. Served in a glass mug, this comes accompanied by a miniature Chicago dog skewer, a mini Italian beef skewer, a deconstructed giardiniera skewer, and is served with a shot of Chicago’s own Malort liqueur. 
  • State and Cake Sundae: featuring a foundation of red velvet cake and crowned with the “a la mode” experience: three scoops of Neapolitan ice cream drizzled with chocolate fudge, and topped with Tahitian vanilla bean whipped cream and assorted chocolate candies.
