Sunda New Asian has announced the celebration of its 15th anniversary, in time for Asian Pacific American Heritage Month. To commemorate its 15th anniversary, Sunda New Asian has curated a special anniversary menu that pays homage to its roots while embracing new culinary trends. Guests can expect a culinary journey that reflects the evolution of the restaurant over the past 15 years, offering signature dishes alongside exclusive food and beverage creations crafted by Sunda’s chefs and bar staff. 

Throughout May at River North: 

  • Boo-Dah’s Style Grilled Ahi Tuna & Pork - chili vinegar, mango, sweet onions

  • Golden Child - escolar, mango, avocado, tempura crumbs, mango crème 

  • Malay-Style Chilean Sea Bass - coriander, lemongrass, miso, chilis, curried cauliflower puree 

  • “Shaking”Beef - wok seared beef filet, greens and lime-pepper dipping sauce 

May 1-15 at River North:

  • Honey-Ginger Braised Beef “Long Ribs” - creamed baby bok choy congee, crispy carrots

  • Crab Cake Crusted Ahi Tuna Sashimi -  japanese hot mustard, sweet soy glaze 

  • No You Didn’t…the ultimate hand roll - crab, shrimp tempura,  salmon, spicy tuna, dynamite 

May 16-31 at River North:

  • Char Siu BBQ Pork - honey, miso, palm sugar glaze

  • Mushroom Lover Roll - asian mushrooms, soy paper

  • Devil’s Basket - wok tossed crispy soft shell crabs, dried chilis, shallots, scallions, toasted garlic

  • Staring at the Sun - Absolut Mango, Lemongrass, Lime, Pineapple
