Sticky Bat Wings Take Flight at Jake Melnick's this Halloween

Jake Melnick’s Corner Tap is serving up frightful fare all month long.  The Gold Coast restaurant and sports bar, is getting into the Halloween spirit with October specials.

Sink your teeth into Sticky "Bat" Wings, a Halloween version of Jake Melnick’s signature chicken wings.  Executive Chef Matt Smith tosses jumbo chicken wings in a mixture of soy sauce, honey and chili paste and coats them in charcoal powder for  their black "bat wing" appearance.  

Jake Melnick’s Halloween burger, The Nightmare on Superior Street, features 9 oz. of premium beef, fresh habanero peppers, lettuce, tomato, pepper jack cheese, garlic aioli, jalapeño, a splash of super hot sauce, and served on a black bun.
