Join the ping pong club, SPiN Chicago, located in River North, along with Sam Adams in a playful, yet competitive evening to support those affected by the recent hurricanes. The event runs from 5-8pm. on Friday, October 6th Enjoy specialty happy hour bites and drinks starting at $3, live DJ’s spinning throughout the night and a chance to test their strength in the first-ever SPiN’s Sam Adams Stein Hoisting Competition.
Stein hoisting rules are as follows – put your biceps to the test against fellow Chicagoans in holding a one-liter glass stein, at a straight ninety (90*) degree angle, filled to the brim with Sam Adams OctoberFest for as long as possible. If you sip, spill or bend your arm – you’re out! The top five winners will be flown to Boston on October 27th to the stein hoisting finals
, and the top two winners of the finals will win a trip to the Sports Illustrated Sportsperson of the Year Gala in New York City.
Sam Adams will be donating $1 for every minute an OctoberFest stein is hoisted at one of their Stein Hoisting events across the country to the American Red Cross in support of those who have been impacted by the recent hurricanes in the Gulf Coast and Texas.
Entry: Complimentary with RSVP.
Guests must RSVP in advance via SPiN Chicago
