From a Vietnamese and Cambodian food tasting (and cooking lessons) to cocktails pairings during Restaurant Week, Staytion Market & Bar has revealed the January lineup of its Celebrate the Neighborhood Series with an assortment of events:
· Asia On Argyle (Tuesday, January 8th from 5pm-7pm): Chicago’s Uptown Neighborhood is full of ethnic flavors and shops. With this in mind, Staytion’s chef has created a Pho Dish made from all local ingredients within the area. The chef wants you to bring your Pho making skills to the table and teach you how to make this culturally rich dish.
· Music Trio (Friday, January 18th from 5pm-7pm): Local Band ‘For The People’ will be kicking off the 2019 Friday Night Music Lounge at Staytion. Featuring an acoustic soul trio with vocals, guitar, and percussion.
· Perfect Pairing (Thursday, January 24th from 5pm-7pm): In honor of Chicago Restaurant Week, Mixologist Kevin will take you through a night of pairings for each of the highlighted Restaurant Week Entrees. Adding to the community inspiration, each cocktail will feature a different local distillery spirit.
· Pedway Trails (Tuesday, January 29th from 4pm-10pm): The Windy City can be daunting during the cold months of the new year. Fortunately, Chicago natives have found ways to stay busy, warm, and hydrated. Looking for some ideas? Stop by Staytion to grab one of the navigator guides for exploring all the best stops along Chicago’s underground network-The Pedway.
