At a glance: Stan's Donuts Race Returns to Soldier Field August 19
Stan’s Donuts & Coffee announces the return of their annual Stan’s Donut Race on August 19. The race is now returning to Soldier Field for a day filled with donuts, coffee, and exercise overlooking the views of Lake Michigan.
Presented by Adrenaline Special Events, Stan’s Donut Race will comprise of three different races throughout the morning – a 10K, 5K and Kids Dash, a half-mile dash for those ages 12 and under. The race will wind through the Museum Campus and along the scenic urban course. In addition to donuts, all participants will receive a Stan’s Dri-Fit shirt, a donut-shaped medal for participation, donuts, coffee and much more. For those cheering on the runners during the race, there will be a number of games and toys.
Stan’s Donut Race announces their official 2023 charity partnership with Cal’s Angels. Cal’s Angels is a pediatric cancer foundation with a mission of granting wishes, raising awareness and funding research to help kids fighting with cancer. A portion of proceeds from all registrants will be donated to Cal’s. Additionally, all attendees and racers are welcome to donate to Stan’s Donut Race donation goal on their website.
The race will begin and end at Soldier Field Stadium Green at 1410 Special Olympics Drive. Each race will begin at a staggered start time, with the 10K kicking off at 7am, followed by the 5K at 8am and finished with the Kids Dash beginning at 10am.
