Stan's Donuts cuts the ribbon on its 10th store and second suburban location at Woodfield Mall’s Dining Pavilion on Saturday, Sept. 29, which happens to be International Coffee Day. Stan’s owner Rich Labriola will do the honors alongside Senior Trustee and Mayor Pro Tem George Dunham and other village leaders.
Though the mall doesn’t open until 7 a.m., Stan’s fans will be able to line up as early as 5 a.m. at Entrance 4 (by P.F. Changs and Texas de Brazil). There’s a sweet incentive: The first 100 guests in line will get a free glazed donut, one of which will be the gold-leafed Golden Donut, promising free donuts for life.
Throughout the day,guests will enjoy mini Old Fashioned Donuts samples as well as rotating samples of Stan’s Coffee, developed in partnership with Chicago’s Passion House Coffee Roasters, Stan’s Cold Brew and its signature Hot Chocolate, in celebration of International Coffee Day.
