Holiday features include classic Corned Beef & Cabbage with boiled Yukon potatoes and carrots ($28), a hearty Reuben layered with corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss and Thousand Island dressing on rye, served with fries ($25), and Guinness Lamb Stew with rustic vegetables ($18). Steps from the Chicago River, FireLake turns River Dyeing Day into a full-scale outdoor celebration beginning at 8 a.m. The heated patio transforms into a morning party hub with green beer flowing, an outdoor bar, and live music from DJ Hannah Heavin, setting the tone as crowds gather for the spectacle. Outdoor food stations will serve Irish-inspired favorites throughout the morning and early afternoon, creating a festive street-level atmosphere just moments from the river. As parade festivities wind down, the celebration continues indoors, where guests can settle in for all-day dining and holiday specials. Breakfast service begins at 7 a.m. with a Full Irish Breakfast ($17). After 11 a.m., offerings include a classic Reuben Sandwich ($16), Corned Beef Plate with braised cabbage, carrots and roasted baby potatoes ($25), Fish & Chips ($26), and a shareable Mega Pretzel with beer cheese and honey mustard ($22).
Eden
Eden welcomes March with the return of its Irish Coffee Danish ($10), available beginning Saturday, March 7 and running through the end of the month. A pastry-forward nod to St. Patrick’s Day, the limited-time treat will be offered during weekend brunch and is also available for bakery pre-order. Crafted by Pastry Chef Jo Le Bozec, the limited-time danish layers Irish Cream whipped ganache, chocolate flan cream, stout sponge and cocoa nib — a nod to the holiday that reflects Eden’s in-house pastry program. The restaurant will also serve an Irish Coffee made with Brewpoint coffee and Baileys for a festive pairing.

Michael Jordan’s Steakhouse Chicago has a special St. Patrick’s Day menu from March 14-17. Come in and try their holiday exclusive Corned Beef Wagyu Short Ribs, Shepherd's Pie, Reuben Sandwich. Drink their green Guinness Pint, Boozy Shamrock Shake, Green Apple Martini, and Green Mimosa. The bar will open at 9:30 am, with food and drink specials available.

In honor of the Chicago River dyeing weekend (3/14–3/15) and again on St. Patrick’s Day, Tuesday 3/17, Casa Chi will be pouring festive drink specials including Guinness ($13), Green Beer ($12), Irish Coffee ($16), Irish Car Bombs ($10), Lucky Tini ($18), Pot of Gold Shot ($10), Green Margarita ($12), and a Mixologist’s Choice ($14). On Saturday 3/14, the bar opens at 10:30 AM (drinks only), with the full Nikkei-inspired menu available starting at 12 PM, featuring bites like Tuna Ponzu Guacamole and signature hot stone specialties. Farm Bar Lakeview & Ravenswood are celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with a special nod to Johnny Mac Cider, which honors its Irish roots, was the bar’s first investor, and is made with apples from the owner-owned Brown Dog Farm. Beginning March 10, a green apple with a sticker will be placed on every table—guests can bring the apple back on March 17 to redeem a free Johnny Mac cider. On St. Patrick’s Day, 100% of proceeds from every Johnny Mac purchase will be donated to Johnny Mac’s nonprofit, and guests can enjoy festive dinner specials to toast the holiday.
