Velvet Taco 

Guests can grab a green margarita this St. Patrick’s day at Velvet Taco across its three Chicago locations with a special prize: the first fifty guests at each spot will receive a free St. Patrick's Day-themed trucker hat.

Oak Park’s Amerikas is getting in the Irish spirit with specialty food and drink, available only on St. Pat’s Day. Sip on the Irish Enlightenment cocktail, crafted with green chartreuse, Teeling Irish Whiskey, Arette Tequila, pineapple juice, lime juice, and simple syrup. Pair alongside Chef Armando’s Beef and Cabbage Taco, topped with horseradish avocado aioli and salsa matcha. 

Mirella's Tavern

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with Leprechaun Specials at Mirella’s Tavern, in West Town. Stop in on Saturday, March 16 for Chef Jose Rivera’s Corned Beef Sliders with fries for $14, a Traditional Reuben with fries for $12, or Corned Beef with Cabbage for $16. Bar Louie

From March 15-17, in-bar beverage offers include – $3 Drafts of Green Beer, $4 Jameson Irish Whiskey Sidecar, $5 Guinness. The brand is also featuring a new cocktail available only during the month of march, the Irish Goodbye. It features Jameson, house-made Guinness syrup, lemon juice, and Fever-Tree Ginger beer. In addition, Bar Louie’s Irish Old Fashion is made with Jameson, Guinness syrup, cocoa bitters and finished with an orange peel expression. 

Bar Louie is introducing their new Reuben Sandwich to the menu just in time for the celebration. This sandwich is made with corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and Louie’s sauce between slices of fresh marble rye bread.

Dog Haus

Available all day on Sunday, March 27, Dog Haus will be offering Green Beer, plus $6 Jameson Shots and $7 Pickle Backs (Jameson with a shot of pickle juice chaser).

River Roast

Executive Chef Jason Qureshi and his team are offering a Specialty Corned Beef Roast during dinner on Saturday, March 16, and Sunday, March 17, in addition to a Corned Beef Hash during brunch on Sunday, March 17. For all ages, photo props will also be available for guests to pose with the picturesque green river.

Azul Mariscos

A St. Patrick’s Day Margarita Tower ($80). Available with Kiwi and Classic margaritas, it’s a sharable cocktail display. This special offering is available on Friday, March 15, through Sunday, March 17.

On Chicago’s North Shore, Buck Russell’s is offerin a ‘Shambuck Shake’ for the entire month of March. This shake is made with homemade mint ice cream.

Chuck Lager America's Tavern (Orland Park)

Chef Fabio Viviani has curated a Corned Beef Melt and Corned Beef Platter that is available through March 17th. Furthermore, Chuck Lager is offering happy hour specials all day on March 17 with live music.

Broken Shaker

Three days of drink specials will be offered at Broken Shaker, including its newly-opened lobby cafe. Between March 15 and 17, guests can grab $12 Irish Coffees to-go from the cafe, while Broken Shaker proper - which sees an early 7am opening on March 17 - will offer $7 Bushmills shots, $15 Irish Coco Espresso Martinis, and bee specials. DJ Tess will officially kick off St. Patrick’s Day weekend with a 9pm set on March 15, and the music continues with a noon set from DJ Marks and 9pm DJ set from Audio Jack on March 16.

TAO Chicago

This year, TAO Chicago is hosting its inaugural St. Patty’s Daytime Party on Saturday, March 16 from 10am-6pm. A party across two floors; tickets include access to both restaurant and nightclub floors (GA starts at $10, first floor table for 6 guests starts at $350, second floor table for 8 guests starts at $500). The first 250 guests will receive a complimentary Jameson cocktail.

Publican Quality Bread

This year, you can leave the Irish soda bread baking up to baker Greg Wade and the Publican Quality Bread team. Honoring the traditional Irish method, the team leavens the dough with baking soda instead of yeast, resulting in a crumbly texture that's flavored with caraway seeds and dried shallots.  


In addition to offering their usual brunch menu and bar offerings (featuring bottomless bubbles, mimosas, and Bloody Marys galore!), Executive Chef Marcel Heiduk is going all in with a handful of specials available just for the weekend. Dig into the Venteux Burger topped with melted Gruyere cheese, or a meaty Corned Beef Sandwich on rye, served with whole ground mustard, pickled cucumbers, and crispy fries. Festive drink specials include a Lucky Latte made with white mocha mint syrup from the cafe, and from the bar, two Jameson Orange cocktails: the Irish Gold Fashion, garnished with an orange swath and edible gold, or the Lucky Spritz, crafted with pineapple juice and sparkling wine.

Bar Pendry is offering a contemporary twist on traditional Irish fare with a special available just for the weekend —  a corned beef sandwich, piled high on toasted pumpernickel with tangy Patty’s sauce and pickled bean sprouts, served with a side of crispy fries. Raise a glass to the holiday with a special Irish whiskey flight featuring 3-ounce pours of Jameson IPA Edition, Yellow Spot and Proper 12, or if that’s not your taste, try their specialty cocktail: the Shamrock Shore, a nod to the green milkshake, crafted with Belvedere vodka, Crème de Menthe and Bailey’s Irish cream. 

The Publican

The Publican is rolling out the green carpet with special offerings exclusively available during brunch all weekend long. European-style beer hall options such as corned beef hash and Shepherd’s pie — oysters ordered during brunch will be available for only $2-a-shuck. Or celebrate with a shot of Tullamore Dew Irish whiskey and a classic stout.

Head-Chef Butcher Rob Levitt and his team are brining savory corned beef in-house to be hand-sliced and piled high on fresh rye from Publican Quality Bread with a dollop of tangy housemade mustard. Priced at $17, this hearty sandwich will be available St. Patrick's Day weekend, Friday - Sunday from 11 am to 7 pm for dine-in or to-go via Toast.

Chicago Electric Boat Company

Hop aboard one of Chicago Electric Boat Company’s new heated 22-foot Luxury Duffy Boats, which are fully enclosed with personal space heaters, and a BYOB cruise down green water. Each boat can fit up to 12 people and is complete with a Bluetooth sound speaker and coolers of ice to keep your choice of Irish food and booze chilled for the whole voyage. Plus for St. Patrick’s Day only, boats with up to six passengers will be provided an expert captain from Chicago Electric Boat Company’s team, so everyone in your crew can just sit back for the ride. The Gordon Ramsay Burger Lucky Shake is a custard base, topped with whipped cream, sprinkles and finished with a white chocolate rainbow. The shake will be available March 1-31 for $10.

For the annual parade on Saturday, March 16, Fatpour Tap Works in Wicker Park (2005 W. Guinness Open Gate Brewery Chicago

The Guinness Open Gate Brewery Chicago's celebration will kick off on March 13th and continue through March 17th. With nine sessions spread across five days, the brewery will offer an indoor-outdoor celebration including a tap list with both locally brewed beers and Dublin-brewed favorites, a menu full of St. Patrick’s Day fare, live entertainment, and a fully stocked retail shop with St. Patrick’s Week merchandise that can only be found at the Open Gate Brewery. The week will include a proper Chicago Block Party on Saturday, March 16 through Sunday, March 17.  

Options will include limited-edition St. Patrick’s Week Beers including a Clover Honey Ale, an Irish Breakfast Tea Amber Ale, an Irish Coffee-Inspired Beer and Dublin classics like Harp Lager, Smithwick’s Irish Red Ale and the iconic Guinness Draught Stout.  

The events will also feature Personalize Your Pint, offering the chance to feature your own selfie on top of a pint of Guinness Draught Stout and Perfect Pint Academy, in which guests learn the six-step process to pour their own pint at the Home of Guinness in Chicago.  

In addition, Guinness Open Gate Brewery will make a $30,000 donation to the Greater Chicago Food Depository.

Sweetwater Tavern and Grille

On March 16 (8am-10am), head down to Sweetwater Grille for their annual Kegs N’ Eggs event, steps away from the parade on Michigan Avenue. Tickets are just $25+ fees, but space is limited, so don’t wait to secure your spot.

Bodega Taqueria y Tequila

Bodega Taqueria y Tequila, with locations in Chicago’s West Loop (912 W Randolph St) and River North (407 N Clark St), is set to celebrate St. Patrick's Day with a festive twist on Irish whiskey, offering a weekend filled with specials and DJ sets. In celebration of St. Patrick’s Day and the heritage of Irish Whiskey, the March installment of Untitled's Whiskey Wisdom coursed, whiskey paired dinner features the world’s oldest licensed distillery, Bushmills.

Hannah's Bretzel offers on-the-go St. Paddy's Day themed sandwich this March. Introducing the Dubliner, made with local artisan corned beef, a juniper-Guinness glaze, Nina's Bavarian sauerkraut finished with house-made horseradish dressing on a freshly baked organic bretzel baguette.

The Jameson Mai Tai will be available at Three Dots & A Dash this St. Patrick’s Day weekend, March 16-17.

Wake 'N Bacon

Wake ‘n Bacon in East Lakeview will offer themed cocktails including the Pot of Gold with Ketel One Peach and Orange Blossom, orange juice, Calamansi Sour Mix, and peach syrup, and the Shamrock Sparkler with Tito's Vodka, lemon juice, kiwi syrup, Kinky Green Liqueur, and Choya Sparkling Ume.

Guests can pair their cocktails with brunch served from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Options include the Bacon Flight with three flavors in-house cured and smoked bacon including Maple Peppercorn, Tocino and Tajin, Berry Bliss Crepes filled with vanilla lemon cream cheese and house-made berry jam topped with fresh berries, granola and a sprinkle of powdered sugar, and the Adobo Philly Dip, a Filipino Adobo chicken Philly sandwich with sauteed peppers, caramelized onions, and provolone cheese on a toasted roll served with a side of Adobo au jus. 

The Rambler Kitchen + Tap

The Rambler Kitchen + Tap in North Center will open early at 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 16. Two $30 per person food and drink packages will be available throughout the day for guests who book a table of 4 to 6. 

The Brunch Package will run 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and features corned beef hash, eggs, sausage, potato, french toast, and chicken tenders along with mimosas, bloody marys, and green draft beer. The Lunch Package, available from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., includes chicken tenders, mac and cheese, nachos, quesadillas, and tater tots along with mimosas, green draft beer and house liquor. Both packages include complimentary St. Patrick’s Day swag. 

The Owl

Located in Logan Square, The Owl will celebrate Chicago’s St. Patrick’s Day weekend with a drink combo featuring a pint of Guinness and a shot of Jameson for $9 along with $8 Irish Mules. The bar will be decked out in festive decor and open until 5 a.m. on Saturday, March 16, and 4 a.m. on Sunday, March 17. Revelers can head to The Owl for the afterparty and take part in one of the bar’s late night dance parties. 

The Graystone Tavern

The Graystone Tavern in Wrigleyville will host a St. Patrick’s Day Pajama Party on Sunday, March 17 at 11 a.m. The party will feature a $30 drink package available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m that includes Guinness, Proper 12 Cold Brew, Mimosas, and Bloody Marys. Party-goers can pair their drinks with bottomless pancakes available for $10.

Guests can partake in the festivities in Graystone’s winterized, heated beer garden. The space features string lights overhead, seven TVs, and games like bags, giant Jenga and giant Connect 4. 

Sweet Mandy B's

Sweet Mandy B’s, the old fashioned bakeshop in Lincoln Park and Streeterville, will offer St. Patrick’s Day-themed treats available from Wednesday, March 13 through Sunday, March 17. To bring to parties or even to treat friends and family, there will be Lucky Charms Rice Krispies, Shamrock Cupcakes, Shamrock Cut-Out Cookies, Pot of Gold Cupcakes and a specialty Luck of the Irish Cupcake with chocolate Guinness cake and Bailey’s buttercream.


In recognition of the legend associated with St. Patrick, who stood atop an Irish hillside and banished the snakes from Ireland, Remedy will offer a “Day O’ The Snakes” special available all weekend featuring $6 Snake Bites. St. Patrick’s Day party-goers can choose drinks and vibes at Remedy until 5 a.m. Saturday and 4 a.m. on Sunday. 


Estelle's will keep the St. Patrick’s Day party going until 5 a.m. on Saturday, March 16 and 4 a.m. on Sunday, March 17 with a drink combo featuring Guinness with a shot of Jameson for $12. Party-goers who arrive early can choose Estelle’s half-price happy hour from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on both days.

Easy Bar

To celebrate Paddy’s Day weekend, on Saturday, March 16 and Sunday, March 17, Easy Bar will open at 4 p.m. for a half-price happy hour until 6 p.m. Themed specials available all weekend will include $8 Guinness and non-alcoholic Guinness along with $7 Jameson shots. 

Cody's Public House

Revelers headed to the St. Patrick’s Day parade in downtown Chicago can pregame at Cody’s Public House in West Lakeview on Saturday, March 16 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The $30 per person drink package will include green beer, mimosas, bloody marys and all draft beer. St. Patrick’s Day swag will be available and Cody’s will offer a free breakfast beginning at 9 a.m. while supplies last. 

Central Park Bar

Irish drink specials will be available at Avondale's Central Park Bar. From Friday, March 15 through Sunday, March 17, specials will include a $9.50 Guinness and Jameson shot combo along with $6 Jameson shots.

Taureaux Tavern

Taureaux Tavern offers their “Patty Daddy” cocktail ($15) and Corned Beef Sandwich ($22). The cocktail consists of mezcal, maraschino cherry and melon, while the sandwich features marble rye bread piled high with corned beef, sauerkraut and 1000 island sauce.


To celebrate St. Patrick's Day, Mordecai is serving up a special vintage cocktail in honor of Irish-American baseball player, Mike Kelly - the "King of Ballplayers". The 10k Kelly ($25) features Irish whiskey, bourbon, 1960s Irish mist, and 1970s amaro and will be available from March 10th - 17th.



  • From 11:00 am - 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 16, Frontier will be hosting St. Patrick’s Day Brunch. Offerings include mimosas and domestic drafts plus one brunch item for $39 per person – brunch options ranging from skillets to burgers, among other wild-game offerings.

LM Restaurant Group

Land & Lake Kitchen, located across from the Chicago River on the ground floor of the LondonHouse Hotel, will be serving a Corned Beef Sandwich. This sandwich features thinly shaved corned beef, sauerkraut relish, thousand island dressing, house-made dill pickles, Swiss cheese, and killer house-cut fries for $17.

Their Bistro concepts, named after their respective neighborhoods, Grant Park Bistro and River North Bistro, will feature the classic Irish dish of Bangers & Mash. This dish includes Irish Bangers served with Yukon gold mash, leek and cabbage colcannon, and onion gravy, all for $22. 

The restaurants will also be serving up festive sips for the weekend bash, including Irish Coffee, Tullamore Dew Irish Whiskey shots, and green pints of Michelob Ultra at all spots. All offerings will be available March 15-17.

The Langham, Chicago

ravelle offers sweeping views of the Chicago River on the second floor of The Langham. Guests can reserve a seat or table in the window-framed bar + lounge and choose a brunch experience from Executive Chef Damion Henry.

The menu will feature Irish breakfast items including a Classic Shepherd's Pie with Colorado Lamb, Corn Beef and Cabbage Hash, and Baked Egg Shakshuka. Additional menu offerings include a selection of French pastries, items from the Langham’s signature breakfast such as a Poached Egg Benedict with Canadian Bacon and Green Goddess Hollandaise, and a seafood display featuring seasonal oysters and chilled jumbo shrimp.

Pre-paid reservations can be made via Tock ($150 per person). 

Additonally, The Langham’s Ice Cream Social pop-up located on the hotel’s outdoor plaza. Alongside the Chicago River, the pop-up is reopening for just one day (Saturday, March 16) in celebration of the holiday. Parade-goers can visit the plaza to select homemade, limited-edition St. Patrick’s Day artisan gelato flavors.

The specialty gelato flavors include Bailey’s Irish Cream, Lucky Charm, Double Chocolate Obsession and Madagascar Vanilla. Guests can customize their treats by swirling the flavors together or adding toppings such as a green cotton candy cloud, rainbow sprinkles, lucky charms crunch, and more. The Ice Cream Social menu will also feature a Valentino Hot Chocolate served with toasted marshmallow and whipped cream.

The Langham, Chicago Ice Cream Social will be open on 3/16/24 from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

The Royal Sonesta Downtown Hotel

The Royal Sonesta Chicago Downtown offers a vantage point of the Chicago Green River Dyeing, perched 39 stories high in the sky. Guests will see views of both the State Street and Michigan Avenue sides of the river, while they visit the Penthouse lounge, or on the outdoor terrace (equipped with space heaters), and with party favors, DJs, and more.

A breakfast buffet featuring a selection of dishes complemented by an open bar offering spirits, wine, green beer, and an array of Irish-inspired craft cocktails. Options from the menu include Irish Stout Sausage Gravy, Green Eggs and Ham, Corned Beef Hash, O’Brien Potatoes, Bailey’s Irish Cream French Toast, and more.

Green beer will be flowing at Hoyt's Chicago during the ground-level river dyeing celebrations, with music, Irish-inspired dishes, cocktails, and more. Along the river's edge, a full bar and bites will be offered. Specialty drinks, jello shots, cans of Guinness Beer, and green beer will be available. Irish-inspired options such as corned beef sandwiches and Irish nachos will also be offered. The festivities kick off with DJs starting at 8 am. Entry is free but you can reserve your spot on Eventbrite.
