Once per month, Birchwood Kitchen in Wicker Park hosts a special Saturday Supper soiree. On Saturday, April 25, the restaurant will welcome guests for a prix fixe meal with BYO beverage pairings from 6-9 p.m.
Chef Jesse Williams' spring-inspired dinner menu, outlined below, features the choice of starter (sweet pea soup; savory goat cheese galette), entree (mussels and clams; egg noodle lasagna; spring lamb shepherd's pie) and dessert (strawberry shortcake; chocolate chip ice cream sandwich). The price is $40 per person, plus tax and gratuity.
Guests are encouraged to bring their own bubbly, brews, wine or spirits to pair with the prix fixe. Seating will be available in the main dining room and on Birchwood Kitchen's spacious backyard patio (weather permitting). Reservations are required, please call 773-276-2100.
