aliveOne

Cubs fans who catch the home opener on Thursday, March 30 can head to aliveOne in nearby Lincoln Park for post-game drinks. Featured specials will include $4 Old Style and $5 Jameson along with half-price everything happy hour from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Free live music from aliveOne resident band Bonzo Squad beginning at 9:30 p.m. in the back room. 

Cody's Public House

Cody’s game day specials will include $4 Old Style tall boy cans, $6 Spiteful Brewing Bleacher Bum Blonde and $6 Cubby Bombs. Guests are invited to “Bring Your Own Meat” (BYOM) and use the grill in Cody’s beer garden to grill up all their game day favorites. Cody’s beer garden also features TVs, darts and bean bags. Gold Coast Social

Gold Coast Social in Chicago’s Gold Coast neighborhood will host a post-game happy hour from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. featuring $5 beer bottles, $7 well cocktails, half-off specialty cocktails, half-off appetizers and a $10 beer and shot combo. 

Graystone Tavern

The Graystone Tavern, located just a block from Wrigley Field, will open early at 9 a.m. for the Cubs Home Opener. The bar will offer Cubs specials, available every Cubs game day, including $6 Proper 12 Irish Apple Shots, $8 Miller Lite 22-ounce steins, and a Ballpark Stadium Menu with game day fare like $6 Ball Park Nachos , $6 Popcorn (butter, cheddar jalapeno, cajun) and $10 Warm Pretzels.

Graystone will broadcast the games on 9 TVs throughout the bar and newly weatherproofed patio that features string lights overhead, six TVs, and games like bags, giant Jenga and giant Connect 4. 

The Rambler Kitchen + Tap

Cubs fans who visit The Rambler in North Center this baseball season can catch all the Cubs action on 20 60-inch TVs throughout the bar with the sound on. Game day specials will include stadium fare like $4 16-ounce Old Style cans, $5 Spiteful Brewing Bleacher Bum Blonde and $5 Stadium Style Nachos.

Gaijin

Gaijin's seasonal kakigori, a Japanese shaved ice dessert, will be available starting Thursday, March 30 for $17 each. Honoring Chicago's baseball rivalry, one kakigori will be Cubs-themed and the other Sox-themed. 

  • Cubby-Kuma: cracker jack ice cream, birthday cake syrup, red velvet cookies, chocolate coffee beans
  • Southpaw: mint chip ice cream, frosted mint syrup, "oreo" sandwich cookie crumble, chocolate coffee beans + cocoa Sox cookie cap

Farm Bar Lakeview

Located at 1300 W Wellington Ave, Farm Bar offers American classics. With a cocktail list complete with creations and food options such as the Michigan “Harvest Burger”.

Irene’s also offers up the Nine-to-Fiver special. For only $15, work from Irene’s and choose either a breakfast burrito or Slagel burger and get unlimited coffee and free wifi every Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
