Artango Bar & Steakhouse will celebrate Leap Day, February 29, with a special dish that pays homage to a long-standing tradition/superstition followed in Argentina. Argentinians enjoy gnocchi (noquis) on the 29th of every month for good luck, and many place money under the plate for good fortune. Chef Saul Roman's special will be Gnocchi 29, housemade gnocchi with braised lamb and malbec reduction, $29. One lucky dining guest will find a $50 gift card to Artango underneath their plate.
Artango is open on Saturdays from 4 p.m. to midnight. On the 29th, the Lincoln Square-located steakhouse will showcase guitarist Fareed Haque and his "secret tango society" show from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. (Haque was named "Best World Guitarist" by Guitar Player magazine).
