While Chicago restaurants are struggling to stay open amidst the indoor dining ban, B. Hospitality Co has embraced the challenge of outdoor eating poses by pivoting with curated igloo experiences at Formento’s and The Bristol. 

A private and personalizable dining adventure, these snow globes at Formento’s and The Bristol come complete with personal heaters, Bluetooth speakers (for diners to play their own music), and an ionizer for air purification. Seating accommodates a maximum of 4 people, with a la carte menus at both establishments, as well as a chef’s prix fixe menu at The Bristol. The only requirement is a $200 food and beverage minimum. 

At The Bristol, beverage director Christian Shaum has curated hot winter-themed cocktails for a cozy refreshment in the snow globes. One of them, “A Warming Gesture,” is a complimentary zero proof herbal tea to kick off the experience. Other drinks include:

  • Mexican Drinking Chocolate (with a Champurrado base)
  • Here We Go A Wassailing (an apple cider-inspired cocktail)
  • Hottest Toddy
