In honor of the 2020 presidential campaign, Smith & Wollensky Chicago is turning their annual Whole Cow Event, a 10-course nose-to-tail one day dining experience, on its head by “electing” to have America’s favorite two animals battle it out in a playful series of “COW vs. PIG” debate dishes this season. Featuring one beef and one pork appetizer and entrée as nominees in addition to domestic and international debate inspired beverage pairings, these specialty menu items and drinks will be available for three weeks at a time from October 14 to November 25 throughout two distinctive debate showdowns.

Guests can cast their ballot for which creation they judge is superior by heading to the polls online, simultaneously entering to win dinner for four at the culminating Inaugural Tasting Event taking place on December 1-3. No matter which culinary candidate you endorse (COW or PIG), a political party for the senses is guaranteed for steak sticklers and bacon believers at Smith & Wollensky this fall.
