Shop Local at Autre Monde’s Kindlmarket on December 19

Last minute shopping? This Saturday, join Autre Monde Café & Spirits (6727 W. Roosevelt Road, Berwyn) for its first-ever Kindlmarket, featuring a local shopping extravaganza with artisans, food purveyors, florists and more. Shoppers browse items from more than 11 Chicago-area vendors, securing handmade items for everyone on their list.

While shopping, guests can groove to live music and enjoy nibbles like house-made German style sausage sandwiches with kraut and fried dough by Chefs Dan Pancake, Beth Partridge and Andrew Kerns. Imbibers can also take part in the local whiskey tasting and sip on warm spiced wine by House Mixologist Becci Visconti West.

Autre Monde’s Kindlmarket features potters, jewelry makers, vintage glassware, repurposed furniture, paintings, hostess gift boxes from Sugar Beet, artisan cutting boards, a milliner with handmade hats, Jo Snow flavored syrups (of Blood Orange Gimlet fame), cards & prints by Rafael Nieves, painted tiles & papers, seasonal florals & centerpieces, handsewn Items, and more.
