The Shamrock Shuffle is almost upon us. In celebration of the annual 8K, three city spots will offer shamrockin' dining deals for race participants on Sunday, March 24.

The Chicago Firehouse in the South Loop will feature complimentary "Shuffle Truffles" for runners during brunch service from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The chocolate truffles will be prepared by new executive pastry chef Karianne Soulsby (Warm Belly Bakery; Seven Lions; Sweet Mandy B’s; TRU).

Shufflers may raise a glass and toast to their accomplishment with $3.12 pints of Goose Island's 312 Urban Wheat Ale at Timothy O'Toole's Pub in Streeterville. The subterranean sports bar will also dish out complimentary beads to runners. Chef Corey Grupe's brunch menu will be available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Runners are invited to shuffle on over to Cantina Laredo in River North after the race to enjoy a complimentary Traditional Guacamole (regularly $10.50; one per table) from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., along with Chef Daniel Espinoza's new brunch menu. All brunch entrees include a complimentary mimosa or Bloody Maria.
