Savannah Bananas Weekend Specials at Mordecai

As the Savannah Bananas bring their sold-out baseball spectacle to Wrigley Field next weekend, Mordecai is kicking off the celebration a day early with a limited-time menu of banana-inspired cocktails, desserts and game-day specials just steps from the ballpark.

Available Thursday, July 23 through Sunday, July 26, the themed menu is timed to the Bananas’ weekend series against the Firefighters.

Highlights include: 

Cocktails ($16)

• Bananas Backflip // banana, brandy, 5-year rum, hazelnut, brown sugar and cream
• Dancing Bananas // banana, rum and lime
• Fireman Carry // rye whiskey, Calvados, cinnamon and lemon
• Top Banana // banana, bourbon, aged rum, Velvet Falernum and cardamom

Dessert Drink ($12)

• Shake, Shake Banana // Banana, ice cream, milk and chocolate whipped cream

Food:

• Fried Plantains with ají verde and cilantro ($12) 
• Banana BBQ Pork Belly with Caribbean-inspired BBQ sauce, crispy pork belly, pickled cabbage and bananas ($32)
• Royal Banana Split with housemade ice creams, banana, caramel, chocolate, whipped cream and peanuts ($18)
