Michter’s Flight: Saturday, February 25
Michter’s is a whiskey distillery from Louisville, Kentucky that traces its production back to 1753. They use traditional methods and tools, like the copper and brass pot stills, for their distillation and fermentation. Brasserie by C&C offers the full line of Michter’s whiskeys: American Whiskey; Bourbon; Sour Mash; and Rye. With this course, guests will taste all four whiskeys, highlight the differences between each type.

Why Rye?: Saturday, March 4
One of the most specific kinds of whiskey is rye. A rye whiskey has to be at least 51% rye grain in the mash for fermentation. This imparts a spicy flavor that you can’t get from wheat, corn, or malted barley. Combined with the barrel aging whiskey is known for, you wind up with a spicy, woody and complex whiskey.

Scotch: Saturday, March 11
Participants will learn about the basics of scotch whiskey, and more importantly, taste some!

Mezcal: Saturday, March 18 Did you know that all tequila is mezcal, but not all mezcal is tequila? If you didn't, this course is just for you. Mezcal is a rich agave liquor. During this tasting event, guests will discuss and taste mezcals from Mezcal Amaras.
