SafeHouse Chicago, 60 East Ontario, is bringing a new meaning to the phrase, “the most wonderful time of the year,” by hosting several holiday events throughout the month of December. The spy-themed restaurant will be inviting Chicagoans to celebrate with an Adult Holiday Party, Bond Brunch with Santa, Christmas Eve Brunch, and a family friendly New Year’s Eve Spies Around the World Celebration followed by a 21 and over Shag-a-delic Dance Party.
The world’s most elusive man, Santa Claus, will be making an appearance at SafeHouse on Sunday, December 17th from 11am to 4pm for their Bond Brunch with Santa. In addition to the usual reconnaissance missions at SafeHouse, junior spies will also receive a special holiday gift and have the chance to chat with Jolly Old Saint Nick. The regular menu will be available during this event.
All spies that are 21 and over are encouraged to partake in underground furtive festivities on Friday, December 22 for the special SafeHouse Holiday Party from 10pm to 2am. Partygoers will enjoy live DJ entertainment, holiday-themed drink specials, and a waived clearance fee (no cover). Spies will also each be given one raffle ticket upon entry and will have the chance to win three different prizes, each worth $100. Guests will receive an additional raffle ticket for every drink purchased throughout the evening.
Those looking to hide from in-laws or go incognito on Christmas Eve can take part in the Christmas Eve Bond Brunch on Sunday, December 24th from 11am to 4pm. The regular brunch food and cocktail menu will be available.
SafeHouse will be celebrating New Year’s Eve all day long with their Spies Around the World Celebration on Sunday, December 31st starting at 11am. Fun for the whole family, those who visit SafeHouse will be treated to a complimentary glass of sparkling grape juice, or sparkling wine, for special spy-themed New Year’s Eve toasts every hour from 2pm-6pm, including a Salute to the Troops, Midnight in Moscow, Greek Isles, Paris & Rome, and London & Dublin.
When the clock strikes 10pm, the real New Year’s Eve party will begin. Hosting their first ever New Year’s Eve Shag-a-delic Dance Party, SafeHouse will be ringing in 2018 with sparkling wine toasts both at 11pm and midnight, as some spies are still operating on New York City time. Throughout the evening, agents will enjoy a variety of different cocktail deals and a “Random Open Bar,” offering complimentary well cocktails, wine and domestic drafts of beer for short periods of time. SafeHouse Chicago knows that New Year’s Eve is the perfect time for spies to show off their best outfits, and a $50 prize will be awarded to both the best dressed male and female, and a $100 will go to the best dressed couple. The clearance fee (cover) for this event is $10. For $50, spies receive a special wristband that offers access to an open bar throughout the night and a VIP bartender.
