While it may not be gift-giving season, Chicago’s Russian Tea Time is giving back by partnering with MeaningFull Meals, University of Chicago’s organization that aims to strengthen the community and alleviate food insecurity. When guests come to Russian Tea Time and order an item with the MeaningFull Meals icon indicated on the menu, the organization will donate $1 directly to the Greater Chicago Food Depository, Chicago’s food bank that strives to end hunger in the community, along with the Inspiration Corporation, who trains low-income and homeless Chicagoans for careers in the food service industry, and Pilot Light, an organization that encourages children to make healthier choices. MeaningFull Meal options include Classic Russian Garden Salad, Lamb Samsa, Chopped Beef Liver Pate, Chicken Liver Schnitzel, and Grilled Chicken Breast Florentine.
