Running of the Bulldogs at Mercat a la Planxa

Surrounding the traditional Running of the Bulls that occurs every July in Pamplona, Spain, Mercat a la Planxa, will donate $1 of every tasting menu sold Chicago French Bulldog Rescue.

In culmination of the the promotion, Mercat a la Planxa will host a “Meat and Greet” dog-friendly event on September 14, to provide the proceeds to the Chicago French Bulldog Rescue. The Chicago French Bulldog Rescue (CFBR) rescues French Bulldogs from animal shelters and puppy mills and helps families and individuals that can no longer care for their dogs. They work to educate the public about French Bulldogs and to  place rescued Frenchies into loving homes. Mercat a la Planxa will provide homemade doggie treats for the four-legged furry guests who attend the event.

Mercat a la Planxa’s eight-course tasting menu is available at $55 per person with a two guests minimum and features a selection of signature Spanish tapas as well as a paella and dessert.

The Mercat Tasting Menu is available during dinner service, Sunday through Thursday from 5-10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 5-11 p.m.
