A closer look: Roy's Restaurant and Wagner Family to Partner Up for National Wine Dinner
Roy's Restaurant is combining the talents of Roy's Chef Partners with a selection of fine wines from the renowned winemakers of California's Wagner family with an exclusive five-course dinner. For $95, guests will experience the ingredients of the Pacific Rim, awakened by the abundant flavors of the Wagner Family of Wine's top reds and whites-including its award-winning Caymus Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon.
The Wagner Family of Wine dinner will be offered on November 19 at 6:30 pm. at Roy's Restaurant on State Street. The five-course dinner features carefully-selected food and wine pairings, including:
First Course: Chilled Vietnamese Style Lobster Spring Roll with Mer Soleil Silver, Unoaked Chardonnay, 2013
Second Course: Swarnadwipa Hawaiian Bouillabaisse with Conundrum White Wine Blend, 2013
Third Course: Kurobuta Pork Loin with Belle Glos Pinot Noir, Las Alturas Vineyard, 2014
Fourth Course: Wagyu Beef with Caymus Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, 2013
Fifth Course: Red Velvet, Chocolate, Cream Cheese with coffee
