Rijsttafel Dutch-Indonesian Pop-Up Dinner at Politan Row Chicago October 26

Chef Chris Reed of Bumbu Roux is bringing The Rice Table, a long-running Chicago pop-up dining option, to Politan Row Chicago with a special Rijsttafel dinner on Saturday, October 26th. The Dutch-Indonesian feast, literally meaning “rice table”, will showcase the abundant delicacies of the Archipelago Islands. Chef Chris Reed of Bumbu Roux at Politan Row Chicago and founder of The Rice Table dinner series, will offer a 12-dish meal featuring classics from his family’s cookbook complete with complimentary beverage pairings from Bar Politan. Beginning at 7pm, guests are invited to take part in this culinary exploration of where East meets West and discover the nuances of the original fusion cuisine.
