Celebrate the 86th anniversary of the end of prohibition by sipping in style at III Forks Prime Steakhouse. On Thursday, December 5, the Lakeshore East located restaurant will feature a classic Old Fashioned cocktail poured over a III Forks signature stamped ice cube. The prohibition era libation is made with Woodford Reserve Bourbon, simple syrup and Peychaud’s bitters, $13.
Stop in early for happy hour from 4-7 p.m. and enjoy half-priced wine by the glass (20 different selections), $5 house martinis, $1 oysters and half-priced Certified Angus Beef burgers with 4 year aged cheddar and lemon aioli ($9; regularly $18).
Chef Adrian Corkill's superb steakhouse menu, features starters (ahi tuna; crab cake; lamb meatballs), USDA prime steaks (bone in ribeye; New York strip; filet mignon; tomahawk ribeye), seafood (cold water lobster tail; Chilean sea bass; Atlantic salmon; scallops), local favorites (bacon and rosemary roasted chicken; braised short rib; vegetable ravioli; prime double-cut pork chop) and sides (fried brussels sprouts; lobster mac and cheese; off-the-cob cream corn).
