Real Urban BBQ Unveils New Menu with Ten All-New Items

Real Urban Barbecue, located in Downtown Highland Park (610 Central Ave. #177), Vernon Hills (1260 S. Milwaukee Ave) and Oak Brook (2119 Clearwater Drive), has unveiled a new menu featuring ten all-new options courtesy of Executive Chef Dean Eliacostas.

Real Urban Barbecue's new menu features fresh items including:

• Appetizers: Cheddar & Corn Hush Puppies; Buffalo Chicken Spring Rolls; and Caps & Curds, breaded white cheddar curds and jalapeño caps
• Southern Salad, lettuce, tomatoes, cheddar cheese, candied pecans, sweet corn, black beans, sliced avocado and friend onion strings
• Grilled Chicken Sandwich, herb marinated with lettuce, tomato and avocado
• Smokin' Portobello Sandwich, grilled and glazed with balsamic, topped with red onion, bleu cheese, tomato, roasted red peppers and lettuce
• Mac Attack, RUB's award-winning homemade mac & cheese topped with pulled pork or burnt ends
• Shaved Pork Loin Sandwich, tossed in RUB's original BBQ sauce and topped with fried onions strings
• Urban Poutine, french fries topped with breaded cheese curds, pulled pork and brown gravy
