Reporting notes: Ravenswood Kicks Off Spring with 5th Annual Munch March April 22nd
The Greater Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce (GRCC) is celebrating spring and warmer weather with the 5th Anniversary of the Munch March Dessert & Appetizer Crawl.
Join the Ravenswood community on Wednesday, April 22nd from 5:30pm to 8:30pm as small businesses team up for a dessert and appetizer crawl. Located along Montrose Avenue between Hamilton and Ashland, the event features a selection of appetizers, desserts, beverages, and candies while guests munch their way in and out of small businesses.
“We love that both neighbors and businesses look forward to Munch March every year,” says Amy Czarkowski, Director of Events & Marketing for the GRCC. “It’s a great opportunity for people to sample bites from a variety of different businesses they may or may not be familiar with, while browsing the unique retail shops along Montrose.”
Enjoy a selection of treats while strolling between local shops, boutiques, and restaurants. Just a few things attendees can expect include baked goods, pizza, beer, spirits, and so much more.

In celebration of the 5th Anniversary, Munch March has added live music and performances to this year’s experience! Enjoy a performance by Full Spectrum Bluegrass. Their debut EP Homesick showcases the driving rhythm of classic artists like Earl Scruggs and JD Crowe, with original songwriting exploring modern queer, trans, and urban experience. Plus, commemorate your experience at theTerrible Portraits pop-up with local artist Jacob Ryan Reno to take home your own terrible masterpiece in five minutes for five regular dollars.
The 2026 Munch March is Wednesday, April 22nd from 5:30pm – 8:30pm. Tickets are $32 in advance or $120 for a group of 4. Tickets include 14+ tasting-sized portions of desserts, appetizers, and beverages, a Nature’s Grace and Wellness tote bag, and goodies from partners. Purchasing tickets in advance is highly recommended.
