Now Open Barbecue Logan Square

Q-Tine (pronounced "Q-Teen") officially opened its doors at 2339 North Milwaukee Avenue last month, serving up Poutine & BBQ (and every creative combination of the two) to Logan Square diners.

The broad menu offers a breed of comfort food blending Memphis-style barbeque and Montreal-inspired poutine--a composite of the talents and traditions brought by partners Greg Morton, a BBQ expert and chef with more than 20 years of experience, Harvey Gladman, a Montreal native, former semi-pro hockey player and restaurateur, and Ron DiNella, a longtime leader in Chicago's restaurant scene.

Delicious, quirky menu mash-ups range from the Q-"Philly" Steak (buttery smoked brisket sliced on top of crisp buttermilk onion strings finished with cheese curd sauce and made with Revolution "Bottom Up Wit") to the "QFC" with cod fillet fried crisp, fries, tartar sauce and lemon, the Specialty "Q-dog" (Angus dog dipped in corn bread batter and fried crisp), a Snickers bar fried crisp on a stick and a Dessert poutine made with sweet potato fries, apple filling, caramel sauce and whipped cream.
