Prost! It's Oktoberfest Around Chicago

One reason we love living in Chicago: the change of the seasons. While summertime in Chicago is unforgettable, the city really knocks it out of the park in the fall. Maybe it's because of the impending 5+ months of frigid weather or maybe it's because Chicago just knows how to party. With that said, forget that "winter is coming", enjoy the beautiful weather we have now, and in honor of Oktoberfest, do us a favor and find your local neighborhood bar and down a stein, or three. Oktoberfest Beer Specials at Commonwealth Tavern

• Available now through early December
• $5 to $6 fall beers on Wednesdays

In celebration of Oktoberfest this fall, Commonwealth Tavern (2000 W. Roscoe St.) in Roscoe Village will feature $5 fall beers on Wednesdays. Seasonal beers for $5 each will include Revolution Oktoberfest, Metropolitan Afterburner, Two Brothers Atom Smasher, Great Lakes Oktoberfest. Southern Tier Pumking will also be available for $6 each.

Oktoberfest Beer Garden Celebration at Frontier

• Saturday, October 3 beginning at 12 p.m.
• $25 per person

Guests can enjoy Oktoberfest specials in the all-weather beer garden at Frontier (1072 N. Milwaukee) in West Town from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 3. For $25 per person, guests will enjoy all-you-can-eat specialty Oktoberfest sausages, sides and pretzels from Frontier's Executive Chef Brian Jupiter, a complimentary souvenir beer stein and $6 tapped Oktoberfest beers. Oktoberfest Specials at Lottie's

• $4 to $10 specials

Guests can enjoy a taste of Oktoberfest at Lottie's (1925 W. Cortland) in Bucktown this fall with Oktoberfest Beer Flights for $9 each (beers will rotate daily while supplies last). Guests can splurge for 32-ounce steins of any of the Oktoberfest beers for $10 each. Featured food specials include a jumbo soft pretzel served with mustard and cheese dipping sauces for $4.

Oktoberfest Specials at Municipal

• Now through October 31
• $15 Leinenkugel Oktoberfest mugs

Guests who celebrate Oktoberfest this fall at Municipal (216 W. Ohio) in River North will enjoy 32-ounce $15 Leinenkugel Oktoberfest mugs. Featured food specials will include brats and soft pretzels.

Oktoberfest Specials at and The Pony

• Saturday, September 19 through Saturday, October 31
• $4 to $10 specials

Guests can celebrate Oktoberfest at The Pony (1638 W. Belmont) in Lakeview this fall with 32-ounce steins of any of the Oktoberfest beers for $10 each. Beer selections include Spaten Oktoberfest, Shiner Bock Oktoberfest, Leinenkugel Oktoberfest, Samuel Adams Oktoberfest and Great Lakes Oktoberfest drafts. A jumbo soft pretzel for $4 served with mustard and cheese dipping sauces will also be available.
