Le Colonial is Chicago’s noted up-scale French-Vietnamese restaurant which vividly recaptures the beauty, romance and spirit of French colonial Southeast Asia from the 1920s. Developed by successful restaurateurs Rick Wahlstedt and Jean Goutal, Le Colonial is situated in the heart of Chicago’s esteemed Gold Coast in a charming two-story vintage rowhouse, located at 937 North Rush Street, featuring a main floor dining room, seasonal cafe on the first floor, and a bar, lounge and all-season terrace overlooking Rush Street on the Second Floor, all featuring savory authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Le Colonial is the perfect location for private dining, group events and private parties.
Le Colonial and Project Onward are joining forces to treat Mom for Mother’s Day. Enjoy a traditional French-Vietnamese lunch of Goi Cuon Ga (soft salad rolls with grilled chicken,) Mi Xao Don Chay (stir-fried mixed vegetables and tofu over crispy egg noodles,) as well as a fresh guava bellinis for $10. Also on hand for Mom’s special day will be Project Onward artists creating custom portraits live on site!
Portraits are $30 and reservations can be made by emailing info@projectonward.org. Limited space available for walk-ins.
