Porkchop serves brunch dishes and a helluva hangover Bloody Mary (slider, shrimp, bacon, fried pickle, wing, more -$15 at select locations) in a casual environment – to cure what ails you on New Year’s morning. The restaurant will reward all pajama-wearing patrons with 20% off their brunch tab – which makes indulging in selections like Southern Benedict (two buttermilk biscuits topped with country ham or bacon, and poached eggs, smothered in Andouille gravy and served with roasted potatoes, red onions and green peppers) and The Fat Elvis Brunch (Bacon waffle, bananas, peanut butter, maple syrup, and whipped butter), that much more fun. All diners will be treated to one free Bloody or Mimosa, and kids eat free. Any questions? New Year’s Day brunch is available in the South Loop at Roosevelt Collection, Hyde Park and Bolingbrook.
