Pizzas are now on the go, thanks to Ten Mile House’s new mobile wood-fired pizza oven. Every Friday and Saturday night, the restaurant stations its pizza oven at fellow Evanston business, Temperance Beer Company (2000 Dempster St. Evanston), serving customizable pizzas to hungry weekend imbibers.
Ten Mile House’s traveling pizza oven has been making its way around town, and ownership is excited to announce this ongoing weekend installation at local brewery Temperance Beer Company. The new collaboration with Temperance allows Evanstonians and Chicagoans to support the local community all while enjoying their favorite wood-fired pizzas and craft beers at one central location.
Starting at $12 per pizza, visitors are able to create their own pie from three different sauces, two types of cheese and eight toppings. All pizzas are tossed to order and available in a 12-inch size, perfect for two or ideal for those less inclined to share their pizza creation. From 5 p.m. ‘til the final pizza crust, Ten Mile House caters to Temperance Beer Company’s weekend patrons looking to accompany favorite craft beer with casual comfort food.
