The Pilotworks Launchpad is an intensive six-week program designed especially for early-stage food entrepreneurs looking to build the foundation to jumpstart a new culinary business. Launchpad provides the framework and strategies for growing a food business from concept to launch. Courses are lead by Pilotworks staff or food industry professionals and partners and  courses highlight the challenges and rewards of starting a food business. The curriculum covers everything from business financing, licensing, marketing and cooking in a commercial kitchen.

In addition to the courses, participants have access to Pilotworks online Launchpad community of food entrepreneurs, where they can connect with other Launchpad participants, mentors, and partners who can help navigate through the obstacles of a growing business.

The introductory price for the program is $100 (normally $450).

The Pilotworks Launchpad program begins on July 24 in Chicago, IL at their location at 820 N Orleans St. Each session begins at 6pm and lasts approximately 2-2.5 hours.

  • Aug 14: Finance for Food Makers

  • Aug 23: Cooking in a Commercial Kitchen, part 2
  • Aug 28: Launch Day and Graduation
