On Thursday, November 4, Pilot Project Brewing will host the Beer Culture Summit Opening Night with Brienne Allan + Friends.

Earlier this year, Brienne Allan (former brewer and production manager at Notch Brewing) asked a simple question. Have you ever experienced sexism in the beer industry? It quickly became the Instagram inquiry that sent shockwaves throughout craft beer.

Join Brienne Allan, Ash Eliot - Founder of Women of the Bevolution,  Ren Navarro - Founder of Beer Diversity, and Jen Blair - Advanced Cicerone & National BJCP Judge, for a virtual conversation about the Brave Noise initiative and global beer collab advocating for a safe and discrimination-free beer industry at Pilot Project Brewing as part of the Chicago Brewseum's Beer Culture Summit.

Pilot Project has been at the forefront of this initiative since the beginning and is one of 3 breweries in Illinois and less than 100 nationally to participate.

Details below:

  • Date: Thursday, 11.4 from 7pm-10pm at Pilot Project

  • Ticket price: $40 - Ticket price will include two beers (including the Brave Noise beer brewed by Pilot Project) music from DJ Charlie, and a live stream from Brienne.
