This April, PDQ (People Dedicated to Quality) is making every meal count by joining thousands of restaurants nationwide to raise funds for No Kid Hungry®. During the month of April, PDQ will donate a portion of proceeds from every Thai Peanut Bowl, Queso Crunch Bowl, and Saucy Bowl, and for every bowl sold, No Kid Hungry® will provide two meals for kids in need.

Guests will also be able to donate directly to No Kid Hungry®  by visiting www.NoKidHungry.org/PDQ. A donation of $1 can provide 10 meals to kids in need. To learn more, please visit  www.NoKidHungry.org/OneDollar.

“We are proud to partner with our friends at No Kid Hungry this April to help children all across the country,” said PDQ CEO and Co-Founder Nick Reader. “Childhood hunger is an injustice that impacts thousands of kids and our team of People Dedicated to Quality is committed to making a difference with this initiative.”

In America, one in six children struggles with hunger. Since 2008, thousands of restaurants across the country have raised millions through the Dine Out for No Kid Hungry program, and PDQ is joining the fight with a goal of raising more than $20,000 for kids struggling with hunger here in America.

Funds raised support No Kid Hungry’s work to connect children to effective nutrition programs like school breakfast and summer meals and teaching low-income families how to stretch their food budgets and cook healthy, affordable meals.

“Everyone—private citizens, businesses, policymakers, and nonprofits—has a role in helping end childhood hunger in America,” said Diana Hovey, Senior Vice President at No Kid Hungry. “I encourage everyone to visit NoKidHungry.org to join this national movement to ensure that every child in America has access to the nutritious food they need, every day.”
