Funkenhausen has a new to-go wine shop. The wine shop is located at the front of the restaurant and is open every night, except Monday, starting April 16. BarMar and Bazaar Meat

Offer mom to a journey through José Andrés’ two newest Chicago concepts – seafood focused BarMar and carnivorous Bazaar Meat. Both located in the Bank of America Tower. After you’ve tasted the sea, head up one floor to the views of Bazaar Meat, where she can experience both “traditional” and “modern” Spanish tapas, like Cotton Candy Foie Gras, José’s Taco and Italian Beef Airbread. 

Michael Jordan's Steak House

Michael Jordan’s Steak House Chicago will be offering a special brunch menu including a selection of spring-inspired brunch specials such as Fried Chicken and Waffles with Sriracha Maple Syrup, Rudy's Famous Chilaquiles, Steak and Eggs with Poblano Pepper Hash. Plus, a Filet with Roasted Lobster and Preserved Lemon Butter, will be available all day. End your meal on a sweet note with special dessert offerings or a slice of the restaurant’s 23 layer Cake. 


The American tavern is offering its brunch, including a free mimosa for Mom. Beverage specials on local beer drafts, Bloody Marys, bottomless mimosas, as well as King Crab and Ham Benedict are offered alongside the full menu. Farmhouse Evanston

Farmhouse Evanston will be serving a traditional, made-from-scratch Mother’s Day buffet on Sunday, April 17 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. With brunch, dinner and all day options guests will have their choice of hearty Midwestern fare including a Prime Rib of Beef Carving Station, Smoking Goose Baked Ham, Smoked Salmon, Braised Short Ribs and plenty more. Buck Russell's Bakery & Sandwich Shop

Treat mom to Spring Flower Bouquet Cupcakes available by the half dozen or dozen or Mother’s Day decorated butter cookies with vanilla royal icing. In addition to their cake offerings, the team is offering a variety of specials including Strawberry Shortcake and Chocolate-Raspberry Cake. Guests can also purchase the Mother’s Day Brunch Box that serves up to four and includes Tomato-Basil Quiche, Buck's Garden Chopped Salad, Grandma Russell's Coffee Cake, Lemon-Poppy Seed Scones.

State and Lake Chicago Tavern

In addition to the regular menu, diners can choose from starters such as Harvest Chopped Salad, Caesar Salad, Burrata and Roasted Farmer Squash Bruschetta, or Seared Lump Crab Cake. Then choose from an array of mains, such as Steak Frites, Grilled Chicken Breast Paillard, Grilled Faroe Island Salmon, and Rigatoni with Spicy Vodka Sauce. Top off the meal with Valrhona Chocolate Devil's Food Cake, Banana Pudding, or Seasonal Sorbet with macerated berries. FireLake Grill House and Cocktail Bar

This Mother's Day, celebrate Mom with a champagne brunch featuring bottomless mimosas, a Bloody Mary station, carving station, omelette station, chilled seafood station, breakfast selections, dessert display, and more. Ravenswood Mother's Day Market

The Ravenswood Mother’s Day Market returns on Saturday, April 30th from 10am – 4pm in the Ainslie Arts Plaza. Featuring a variety of local shops, artists, artisans, and crafters, the market has a selection of gifts and treats to spoil Moms, Aunts, Grandmothers, and any of the other women in your life.

“We’re looking forward to not only bringing back our annual Mother’s Day Market but also taking it outside for the first time,” says Gene Wagendorf III, associate director of the Greater Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce (GRCC).

Hosted by the GRCC, the outdoor market will feature everything from sweets and baked goods to beauty products, handmade jewelry, original artwork, and more. Those looking to create something of their own are welcome to participate in guided (and kid-friendly) “Make & Take” craft activities led by Lillstreet Art Center.

“We have a lot of great businesses participating,” says Wagendorf III. “There are familiar ones that have participated in past events like Hilary’s Cookies and Lillstreet, as well as some newcomers like Indie-Pendant and First Slice Pie which just recently opened up a Ravenswood location earlier this year.”

The Ravenswood Mother’s Day Market is Saturday, April 30th, 2022 from 10am – 4pm in Ainslie Arts Plaza, located at 4836 North Lincoln Avenue. Drink pairings are available for an additional cost. The special Mother's Day menu will be available on Sunday, May 8th from 4:00 to 9:00pm and costs $105+ per person. 
  • At the Old Orchard location, Roka Akor's (4999 Old Orchard Shopping Center) Mother's Day menu will feature a three-course dinner menu plus dessert with menu highlights including Prime Beef & Kimchi Dumplings; Poached Lobster Maki; Yuzu Miso Marinated Black Cod with pickled red onions; and for dessert guests can choose a piece of chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream. Drink pairings are available for an additional cost. The special Mother's Day menu will be available on Sunday, May 8th from 12:00pm to 8:30pm and costs $98+ per person. 
  • In Oak Brook, Roka Akor's (166 Oakbrook Center) Mother's Day menu will feature a three-course dinner menu plus dessert with menu highlights including Wagyu Beef & Kimchi Dumplings; Flamed Seared Salmon Nigiri with goma & sesame seeds; Robata Grilled Seabass with carrot miso, sweet corn, and edamame; and for dessert guests can choose a piece of chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream. Drink pairings are available for an additional price. The special Mother's Day menu will be available on Sunday, May 8th from 12:00pm to 9:00pm and costs $105+ per person. 

District Brew Yards 

District Brew Yards wants to celebrate the other "mothers" out there this year with a Dog Mom Day celebration on its grand beer patio. On Sunday, May 8, bring your fur-baby to the pour your own beer hall from noon to 5 p.m. Choose beers from Burnt City, Around the Bend, Casa Humilde, and Bold Dog Beer Co. 

River Roast 

River Roast will be offering a Mother's Day Brunch menu offering specials including Lobster Benedict with Old Bay hollandaise and fine herbs and Everything Avocado Toast with tomato, red onion, and fried egg, as well as everyday favorites like French Toast with strawberry and lemon ricotta and Chicken and Waffles with powdered sugar and maple syrup. 

Sueños at Soho Friends 

The mariscos restaurant offers baja cuisine, including Tuna Tostada with yellowfin, leche de tigre, diosa roja, avocado, and salsa macha; Avocado + Asparagus Salad with mint, cilantro, pumpkin seeds, and aged cheese; Pancakes with plantains, mascarpone, and berries; and Chilaquiles Rojo with egg, añejo cheese, crema, and avocado, and many more. Chef Stephen Sandoval is showing appreciation to all mother figures on the special day by offering a free mom-osa to every mom.

All Too Well 

For those spending Mother's Day at-home or on-the-go, All Too Well — the market and deli in Wicker Park. Pick up coffee, tea, bloody mary mix, bagels, spreads, charcuterie staples, deli sandwiches. Logan Square's Ancient Roman inspired Testaccio is setting up families for a spring-forward Mother’s Day brunch this year with a menu of Mediterranean shareable plates served family-style including Shakshuka with poached eggs, harissa, spinach, and lentils and Moroccan Chicken Salad on grilled country bread with pickled veggies and lemon aioli. The main event is a Mediterranean Mezze Platter of Grilled Rosemary and Garlic Lamb served with flat bread, fingerling potatoes, rapini and tzatziki sauce. The neighborhood spot adjoining Lardon, offers everything from sours to dark Czech Pilsners and classic Helles lagers by an array of local Chicago and Midwest breweries including Middlebrow, Ørkenoy, 5 Rabbit Cerveceria and Hopewell. The Graceful Ordinary is a newly opened waterfront dining option in St. Charles. The Graceful Ordinary is located on the Fox River with wrap-around views and an indoor-outdoor feel. Mother’s Day Brunch guests can expect specials like flaky Crab Cake Benedict with Old Bay hollandaise and Prime Rib Roast with crisp mille fuille potatoes and English peas. Located within the Carbide & Carbon building, their Mother’s Day brunch will feature a $20 bottomless mimosas and rosé special alongside a menu of options like the Duck and Waffle topped with honey, butter and sumac, French Toast with blueberries, pumpkin seeds and smoked creme, and the Ratatouille Pasta with eggless bearnaise, feta and seasonal vegetables (and an optional caviar supplement). The spot will also offer pastries and latte art at their floral-focused front cafe for those looking for a quick stop-in between Michigan Ave experiences. The Mediterranean meets Midwest restaurant is serving up a family-style 5-course Mother’s Day brunch with locally sourced ingredients. Options include Brioche Lokma with raw honey and toasted walnuts, Coal Roasted Lamb Shoulder, and French Toast drizzled with blueberry compote and topped with toasted almonds and fresh ricotta. Top of brunch with a cheers to mom from avec's selection of a la carte brunch cocktails like the Rosé Sangria with pear brandy and lemon or a classic Espresso Martini. Adorn Bar & Restaurant

In honor of Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 8, Adorn will host a Mad Hatter’s Brunch Buffet from 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m., featuring a topsy turvy afternoon tea table filled with tea sandwiches. Additional brunch offerings include an Omelette Station, Smoothie & Juice Bar, Chilled Seafood, and Cheese & Charcuterie, among other options. Mothers will also be greeted with fresh-cut floral arrangements of their choice. To round out the storybook specialties, Pastry Chef Juan Gutierrez presents his ‘The Moon’ dessert crafted with love from his childhood memories. The rose raspberry petit gateaux complete with 'ladybug' bonbons, opera cake, berry terrine, pistachio cake, and vanilla sponge will be available for pre-order or brunch add-on.

Brunch is priced at $195/adult and $85/child (ages 6-12). Live entertainment and children’s activities will be available. 

Ambassador Chicago 

Ambassador Chicago will be honoring Mother’s Day during their recently launched Afternoon Tea service in the hotel’s in-house restaurant, Ambassador Room. On Sunday, May 8 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., the historic walls will be filled tea sandwiches, globally sourced teas, and a complimentary glass of champagne. Pricing is $55 for adults and $40 for children ages 12 and under. Reservations can be made via Sevenrooms. 

I|O Godfrey 

I|O Godfrey, the year-round rooftop located in River North at The Godfrey Hotel Chicago, will be offering a Mother’s Day brunch buffet for moms to celebrate. On Sunday, May 8 from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., the brunch buffet will offer a variety of specialty menu items including classic breakfast and brunch selections, an omelet station, eggs benedict, pancake and French toast stations, a carving station, salad bar, pastas, sushi station, a dessert station, and more! Specialty cocktails, champagne, and other libations will also be available for purchase. Pricing is $59 for adults and $15 for children ages 12 and under. The Kitchen will be open on Sunday, May 8 for Mother’s Day Brunch from 10am-3pm. Sociale will be open on Sunday, May 8 from 10am-9pm and is now accepting reservations for Mother’s Day Brunch from 10am-3pm. Celebrate Mother’s Day with a side of views at The Signature Room and Lounge. Oaken Bistro + Bar

High Tea service is in order for Mother’s Day and Oaken Bistro + Bar, 200 N. Field Dr., from 11 am – 3:30 pm, with seatings at 11 am and 12 pm. The special brunch will include High Tea, offering a variety of teas selected from the Harney & Sons tea collections and a High Tea brunch menu featuring savory tea sandwiches and sweet bites worth celebrating. Located at, 702 W Fulton Market St, the Latin-inspired restaurant will be offering a specialty tapas menu, live music, and flowers for mom this Mother’s Day from 11am – 2pm. Hyatt Lodge

Hyatt Lodge has crafted a menu for Mother’s Day, with dining along the venue’s surrounding forest scenery. Diners will have options including “The Raw Bar”, “Momma Said Eat Your Veggies,” offering  fruit and vegetable dishes, and an Omelet Station. Diners will also have a choice of one entree from “Heart of the Kitchen,” which includes Summer Herb Roasted Chicken, Tex-Mex Shrimp and GritsStriped Sea Bass, a Smoked Brisket Bowl, and Coffee Rubbed Hanger Steak. To top it off, diners will have several options for dessert, including an Apple Trifle, Hazelnut Mousse Tarts, and Bavarian Churro. Good Ambler

The West Loop café and bakery from Chef Kevin McCormick and 16” On Center has offerings for the holiday.

  • Raspberry and Pistachio Gateaux: pistachio cake layered with raspberry lime compote. It’s covered in a vanilla Mousse, and topped off with a pistachio chantilly. The cake is then Garnished with pieces of raspberries and pistachios.
  • Carrot Cake Gateaux: This is a good amblers version of the classic. A cardamom spiced carrot cake and spiced pineapple filling are surrounded by a light cream cheese mousseline. This sits on top of a toasted coconut and caramel crunch.  
  • Marquise: Its two layers of dark chocolate cake are filled with a vanilla bean creme brulee, topped with a 70% chocolate mousse, and finished with malted vanilla chantilly and cocoa nibs.  


Formento’s will offer Mother’s Day Brunch from 10am-3pm with special offerings like Stuffed French Toast, Bucatini Cacio e Pepe or Carbonara or Prime Rib Dip. The prix fixe is $34 per adult and $10 per kid. 

The Bristol

Hours are 10am- 5pm and reservations are available on Tock. 

The menu includes: Deviled Eggs with caviar, Gem Salad with Green Goddess and Citrus, French Crullers, Muesli with fig, honey, and walnut, Lentil Soup with chicken thigh, Avocado Toast with a soft egg, Egg Benedict with heirloom tomato, prosciutto, bernaise, Fromage Omelet with watercress and truffle, Salmon En Croute with creme fraiche and pickled beet, Braised Short Rib with Anson Mills Grits and giardaira, Bucatini Carbonara with guanciale and parmesan. The Robey

The Libations at The Lounge package gives guests a token that's redeemable for a cocktail and appetizer at The Lounge. The menu has snacks like Jalapeno Wontons and Buffalo Chicken Bites, sandwiches like Seared Tuna and Nashville Hot Chicken, and entrees like Bavette Steak and Roasted Salmon. The drinks menu offers eight craft cocktails, wines by the glass/bottle, and beer.

Robey guests receive 20% off at any of the hotel's bars/restaurants. They have Café Robey- a brunch restaurant on the main floor (open 7-3 pm daily, soon for dinner service as well). Rewired Pizza Cafe & Bar in Edgewater will host Mother’s Day brunch from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 8. The brunch will feature live entertainment from Olivia Love from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. All moms who dine at Rewired will receive a complimentary rose. 

Bottomless Mimosas are available for $25 or guests can sip on other brunch cocktails a la carte like Peach Bellinis, Micheladas, Bloody Marys and more. The Rambler Kitchen + Tap

The Rambler in North Center will offer a complimentary mimosa for all moms this Mother’s Day with purchase of a brunch item on Sunday, May 8 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Uvae Kitchen & Wine Bar

This Mother’s Day, guests can receive complimentary mimosas during brunch at Uvae Kitchen & Wine Bar as well as an Afternoon Tea at Uvae’s “Fromagerie & Tasting Room” in the space adjacent to the restaurant. The Fromagerie is a retail wine, cheese and charcuterie store by day and an event space with expanded dining and tastings by night.

Tanta is celebrating Mother’s Day with a buffet on Sunday, May 8th from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM. For $59 a person ($25 for kids 12 and under), guests will have the chance to choose dishes from seven different stations: cebiche, causa, salad, anticucho, empanada, entrees, and dessert. 

The buffet will consist of classics, including, but not limited to, a causa station offering whipped potatoes topped with seafood or vegetarian ingredients as well as an anticucho station where guests can fill their plates with Peruvian-style skewers decorated with potatoes, corn, and glazed meat. Guests will also have the choice of one entree, options ranging from a catch of the day seafood dish (Arroz con Mariscos) to a traditional Peruvian-style beef tenderloin (Lomo Saltado), among others.

Mordecai (3632 N Clark St) is offering a Mother’s Day weekend special. From Friday, May 6th through Sunday, May 8th, guests can choose from a crafted dessert and cocktail pairing for $28. This Mother’s Day special, “FOR THE MAMAS,” includes a Fruity Pebbles Creme Brulee dessert, combining smoked sugar with fresh spring berries. Paired is Mordecai’s Vintage Golden Cadillac, where 1970s galliano liqueur meets creme de cacao.
