Pack a Punch on National Punch Day in Chicago

In celebration of National Punch Day and the history of this namesake drink, Punch Bowl Social packs a punch — a punch flight that is! On Thursday, September 20, the Fulton Market “eatertainment” spot will offer $10 punch flights of four signature punches all day long.

The classic punch consists of five components — sour, sweet, strong, weak and spice. In keeping with these five components, Punch Bowl Social’s punch flights will feature: 

• The Watermelon Polo Bowl (El Jimador Reposado Tequila, Teakoe’s Watermelon Spearmint Tea, McClary Bro’s Watermelon Shrub, House-Made Strawberry Syrup, Fresh Lime Juice) 
• It’s A Mer-Man’s World (Old Forester Bourbon, Teakoe’s Pineapple Papaya Tea, House-Made Cardamom Syrup, Doctor Bird Jamaican Rum, Fresh Lime Juice) 
• Lord Stanley’s Cup (Bacardi 8, RumHaven Coconut Rum, Teakoe’s White Pear Fuji Apple Tea, Pineapple Fennel Seed Shrub, Fresh Lemon Juice)
