Oktoberfest at Hubbard Inn 9/16

In celebration of Oktoberfest, on Friday, September 16th, Hubbard Inn will transform its second floor into a traditional German beer tent similar to Munich’s Theresienwiese. Tickets are available for $5 and can be purchased at the door or in advance online. Each ticket includes access to the event, a raffle ticket and complimentary passed appetizers from 6pm-7pm.

Drawing inspiration from traditional Bavarian fare, the appetizers will include: potato pancakes with slow roasted cabbage and horseradish, German sausage with grain mustard and caramelized onions, pretzel bites with beer cheddar sauce, braised beer sliders with Swiss cheese and housemade pickles, and beer battered cod with malt vinegar aioli.

From 6pm-9pm, a variety of Leinenkugel specials will be available, including Oktoberfest and Harvest Patch Shandy (32oz stein for $10).

Additional food specials will run from September 8 through September 18 and include a grilled German sausage appetizer with grain mustard, caramelized onion and watercress salad ($14) and chicken schnitzel with braised cabbage, spätzle and rustic apple vinaigrette ($21).
