The neighborhood spot has a front patio on Chicago Ave and a Funky Wine Shop where guests can purchase natural wines for pick-up online via Toast.
Funkenhausen is offering 16oz Spaten Oktoberfest beer ($8 all day, every day) for the entirety of Oktoberfest (Sept 17- Mon, Oct 3). They also have Sunday BBQeach Sunday from 5-8pm ($38)with a smoked meat main and three sides. Chef Mark also plays with classics, but Oktoberfest-ready is the Bratwurst with mustard, house giardiniera, and sal & vinegar chips, seasonal Pretzel Panzanella, and Berkshire Pork Loin Schnitzel with grilled lemon, sauce gribiche, arugula and radish salad.
Funkenhausen has a happy hour Tuesday-Saturday, 5-6pm and Sunday 3-6pm.
Tuesday is 1/2 off cocktails
Wednesday is 1/2 off bottles of wine
Thursday is 1/2 off all draft beer
Additionally, Chef Mark Steur will be popping up with food at Time Out Market for their Oktoberfest weekend Oct 7-9.
