New Year’s Eve Six-Course Feast at Torali 12/31

A New Year’s Eve Six Course Dinner at Torali with a pre-fixe menu curated by Executive Chef Guenther Moreno and Executive Pastry Chef Toni Roberts. Start with King Crab Saffron Aioli, served with brioche migas, Salmorejo, chervil and preserved lemon; then Duck, a duck leg with risotto, tropical gastrique and jicama; followed by Gnudi Buffalo Ricotta, with wild mushrooms, butternut squash and basil. Guests will be offered Sea Bass, with honey-ginger glazed carrots, spiced parsnip puree and salmon roe oil; and Wagyu, with truffle potato pavé, peas, heirloom carrots and Espagnole sauce. For the last course, a Black Forest Cake, made with cocoa sponge, sour cherry jam, vanilla beach mousse and kirsch gelee. Ramsay's Kitchen Naperville

Diners can celebrate the arrival of 2024 at Ramsay's Kitchen Naperville on Sunday, Dec. 31 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The meal starts with a truffle risotto, made with crispy onions, parmesan and chives, with the option to add fresh shaved truffles. The entree course features a surf and turf dish consisting of seared wagyu, butter-poached lobster tail, champagne beurre blanc and Hackleback caviar. Also offered is the traditional Tuscan dish, Cotechino & Lentils, prepared on New Year’s Eve to celebrate prosperity and luck for the New Year. The dish originated in the town of Modena in Emilia Romagna. The cotechino sausage is sliced into rounds, symbolizing coins and the wish for prosperity in the New Year. Spirit Elephant

Spirit Elephant in Winnetka (924 Green Bay Rd) will offer a New Year’s Eve special to ring in 2024. The special meal is $32 and includes the tender Filet Mignon (mushroom based) with Sauce Diane, a Loaded Twice-Baked Potato and Asparagus with Hollandaise Sauce. CSK Chicago

On Sunday, December 31 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., CSK Chicago (1224 W Webster Ave) will host a New Year’s Eve party in its event space. Eataly Chicago is hosting a New Year’s Eve Taste-Around on December 31. From 2-3:30pm and 3:30-5pm, guests are invited to kick-start their New Year’s Eve celebrations Italian-style. On New Years Eve, early seatings are open from 5PM to 7:30PM and feature a $135 per person 5-course tasting menu with an optional +$70 per person wine pairing. The Gwen

To ring in the New Year, The Gwen Chicago is hosting, “Glam Out at The Gwen” on December 31^st from 10pm-1am at Upstairs at The Gwen where ticket holders will have access to an indoor lounge, a split of bubbles, and hors d'oeuvres. Mercat a la Planxa

To ring in the New Year, Mercat will be offering another multi-course menu priced at $105 per person. Options include Black Truffle Croquetas, Pulpo with potato and black garlic, Sopa de Lentajas, Braised Lamb Shank with rioja and cous-cous, Scallops a la Planxa with saffron risotto and more. 

Chef Donald Young’s Duck Sel

Food lovers can experience exclusive ticketed dinners held in a secret location every weekend in December including a special New Year’s Eve dinner featuring bubbles, truffles and caviar. 

During this cross between a dinner party and a fine dining restaurant experience, up to 18 attendees will be offered seven or 15 courses of contemporary American cuisine, featuring seasonal ingredients and preservation and dry-aging techniques during these culinary journeys. Celebrate the new year 24 stories above the city at Chateau Carbide’s Winter Garden where guests can take shelter in one of the winter lodges and cozy up around personal fireplaces with absinthe-inspired cocktails and light bites. Maple & Ash

Maple & Ash is throwing a Silks & Furs Bash filled with over-the-top touches to help guests start 2024 with a bang. Hosted in their courtyard patio, a towering ice luge flowing with booze and live music from DJ Zel will get the party started. An assortment of passed bites like mini steak sandwiches, warm brioche lobster rolls and caviar bumps will be available along with offerings from a sushi station complete with signature M&A rolls and raw bar items like shrimp cocktails and oysters. The restaurant will be open for service from 7 am to 9 pm on New Year’s Eve, and they’re offfering an assortment of specials available one night only. The M Room

On Dec. 31, diners can select an eight-course tasting menu priced at $155 per person. For an enhanced experience, a curated beverage pairing is available for an additional $95. The evening starts with an Oyster with Yuzu Tonic Granita and Ossetra Caviar followed by Toro Sashimi, Seared Scallop, Roasted Sea Bass, and Roasted Lamb Cutlet. Bronzeville Winery

On December 31^st, guests can join Bronzeville Winery in celebrating the New Year and a night toasting to the Black Renaissance, inspired by the neighborhood of Bronzeville and the Great Gatsby with a “sprinkle” of Beyonce.

Barrio & Bodega

Barrio & Bodega is hosting its Ultimate NYE Party on Dec. 31, from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. General Admission ticket holders will have access to an open bar featuring cocktails, select beer, wine, and prosecco, along with passed appetizers and desserts. The event will feature live DJs and musicians to set the festive mood, and guests will be treated to a midnight prosecco toast and countdown. LondonHouse Chicago

LondonHouse Chicago is set to host its LH 21 New Year's Eve celebration on Sunday, Dec. 31 from 8:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. The event, featuring a special guest in the 21st-floor lounge and dancing on the Etoile terrace, offers sweeping views of the city's annual fireworks. Tickets, ranging from $200 to $2,100 per person, include a 4-hour premium bar, music from Chicago's top DJs, passed hors d'oeuvres, a photo booth, and a complimentary champagne toast at midnight. The Godfrey Hotel Chicago 

Prepare for a countdown to the New Year, complete with a toast at midnight. Tickets for the event offer a range of options. General admission starts at $40 per person, with various premium choices available, an Indoor Lounge Table at $750 or Main Room Small Booth at $1,500. For a more spacious experience, the Premium Large Booth is available for $2,000 or the South Truss Private Room available for $5,000. Private igloos range from $750 to $1,000. The Bassment

The Bassment hosts a night of music, dancing, and festive fun will take place on Sunday, December 31, from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. Guests can take advantage of the 'Early Bird' special: the first 20 tickets are available for $125. Regular ticket prices are $150 until Dec. 18, increasing to $200 thereafter. For an extra special experience, VIP options include private seating, bottle service, and a dedicated server, priced at $1,500 for groups up to 15, $2,000 for groups up to 20, and $2,500 for larger groups. The Hampton Social

Welcome the first day of the New Year with entrees and complimentary rosé at the New Year's Day brunch, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m., featuring seasonal flavors while toasting to new beginnings with a selection of sparkling rosés. 

George Trois

Girl & the Goat is celebrating with a prix fixe menu featuring some of their time-honored classics - as well as new options. The Izakaya at Momotaro

The NYE party at Izakaya at Momotaro features chef-activated food stations (think sushi hand rolls) specially curated party cocktails (zero-proof also available), and a sparkling sake toast at midnight to welcome in 2024. Plus, DJ Stryfe will be spinning beats all the way to midnight and beyond.

Untitled Supper Club

Untitled Supper Club puts history in motion on New Year’s Eve as they transform into the perfumed parlors of the Everleigh Club, inspired by the brothel which operated in Chicago’s Levee district from 1900-1911.

The club will tell the story of debauchery and corruption, but also the story of sisterhood and unerring devotion through variety and burlesque shows curated by Franky Everleigh. The Smith Chicago will offer an à la carte menu from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm, featuring dishes such as Red Wine Braised Short Rib, Spicy Salmon Tartare, Oyster Platters, and more. Additionally, diners can choose a special three-course prix fixe menu from 7:30 pm to midnight, priced at $75 per person, including a champagne toast and party favors at midnight. The menu highlights include burrata, butternut squash schnitzel, brick-pressed chicken, tiramisu layer cake, and more.

Extend the celebration into New Year's Day with brunch at The Smith Chicago. An array of brunch offerings, ranging from Churro Waffles and Vanilla Bean French Toast to Avocado Toast, Grilled Chicken Sandwich, and their signature Mac & Cheese.

Chef Johnny and Anelya will serve their regular menu on NYE, but have added a complimentary pour of Horseradish Vodka Infusion, OR Amuse Proxies —  a non-alcoholic sparkling-rose alternative, which is a collaboration between Chefs Beverly Kim, Johnny and Proxies. Chef Beverly and Parachute have developed a special a la carte Chef’s Menu for their end-of-the-year bash. The menu is packed with Korean soul food like Parachute’s Seafood Haemul Pajeon, Beef Short Rib Kalbi Jjim and Spicy Ddukbokki. The menu also features a Half-dozen Oysters, Italian Beef Kimbop and desserts like a Pineapple Butter Mochi and S’more’s Patbingsu. LG's Bar & Kitchen

Bazaar Meat and Bar Mar

Bazaar Meat will feature a special New Year’s Eve tasting menu at $250/per person. Selections include Jamon Iberico, Cotton Candy Foie Gras, Beef Tartare & Caviar, Scallop Sashimi, Croquetas de Pollo with truffle, Crab Salad, Washugyu Striploin, Lobster Thermidor, and a selection of Patisserie. Bar Mar will offer their full menu with specials including Uni Cone, Lobster Croqueta with Smoked Trout, Crab Salad, and Scallop Ceviche. The two restaurants will also be featuring Champagne specials. From December 29-31 they will feature discounted champagnes on the wine list by 40-45% while supplies last. They will also feature some rare champagnes by the glass for those three days from the cellar.

Jaleo and Pigtail by Jose Andres

This New Year’s Eve, Jaleo and speakeasy Pigtail will offer a special ‘mashup’ tasting menu for $125 per person. Each wave will feature bites from each concept, paired with cocktails and wine selections from each as well. Within 5 courses, diners will get to experience 14 bites and dishes from the two concepts, including Oysters Escabeche, Crab Croqueta, Jose's Taco of Jamon Iberico and Caviar, Mollete con panceta, Arroz Cremoso de Setas, and Chicharron con chocolate. 

Sepia

Ring in 2024 at Sepia with a special tasting menu designed by Executive Chef Andrew Zimmerman and Chef de Cuisine Kyle Cottle.
