Nisi Greek Grill to Bring Flavors of the Greek Islands to Rosemont this October

This October, Forte Hospitality, the Chicago restaurant group behind Sapori Trattoria and Butcher & The Bear, will welcome Nisi Greek Grill to Rosemont’s Parkway Bank Park Entertainment District. A modern expression of the Greek islands, Nisi Greek Grill will draw inspiration from the beauty of the Aegean and the warmth of Greek hospitality, bringing together the flavors of land and sea with elevated Greek cuisine, fresh seafood, premium steaks and seasonal ingredients. Located at 5509 Park Place in the former Saltwater Coastal Grill space, Nisi Greek Grill will offer a contemporary take on Greek dining rooted in the traditions, flavors and hospitality of the Greek islands. The restaurant will join Rosemont’s growing dining scene in the heart of its Entertainment District.

At the culinary helm is Executive Chef Saul Ramos, who also serves as Culinary Director for Forte Hospitality’s Sapori Trattoria and Butcher & The Bear. Ramos will bring a modern approach to Greek cuisine at Nisi, combining traditional flavors with seasonal ingredients and contemporary techniques. Menu highlights include tableside flaming Saganaki and Youvetsi Mac & Cheese with braised lamb shoulder and Kefalograviera cheese sauce as starters. The menu’s main courses include a Wagyu & Lamb Tasting Board which features three cuts of Wagyu and a lamb cut, while the Beef Cheek Pasta pairs pappardelle with Mizithra cheese and the Avgolemono Risotto is served with a grilled harissa prawn.

Nisi Greek Grill’s design will combine Greek-inspired details with the feel of a modern steakhouse. A navy, cream and warm wood palette will be accented with gold finishes, while Greek stone behind the bar, laurel wreath details and a wings-inspired photo wall will add Greek elements throughout the space. Nisi partner John Lawson, who brings more than 25 years of experience in construction and design, helped bring the restaurant’s atmosphere to life, drawing on his experience building neighborhood restaurants and homes across Chicago. The new location will feature a 150-seat dining room, along with an 80-seat patio for warmer-weather dining. A semi-private dining room accommodating up to 60 guests will also be available for corporate dinners, birthday celebrations and other special occasions.

A dedicated back entrance will also provide access to a café-style takeaway area featuring coffee, Greek frozen yogurt, Greek-inspired desserts and other quick options for guests looking to enjoy Nisi on the go as they explore the Entertainment District. Once open, Nisi will also host live music and Greek island-inspired celebrations.
