Formento's will be hosting Grammy award-winning jazz musician Frank Catalano for a New Year's Eve experience.
What promises to be a celebratory night of music, dancing and libations, the party will take place in Formento’s second floor loft space overlooking the West Loop. Frank Catalano and his band will be debuting their new jazztronica compositions, exploring the fusion of jazz and electronic beats. Catalano and his band/DJ will play two sets from 10:00pm until 1:00am. Tickets also include passed bites and a complimentary midnight champagne toast. In addition to music upstairs, Formento's will be offering a NYE prix-fixe menu. For $75 per person, the dinner showcases restaurant classics alongside new cuisine by Chef Todd Stein. Highlights include:
- Slow roasted beef cheek with mascarpone polenta, horseradish & parsley
- Seared Maine scallops with celery root puree, roasted mushrooms & truffle vinaigrette
- Porcini-rubbed butcher steak with Schmaltz potatoes & salsa verde
- Duck confit with creamy lentils, braised kale & Madeira jus
