New Year's Day Brunch at Taco Joint

Say "ole!" on New Year's Day, and recover from the night before, with tacos, micheladas and bloody marias at Taco Joint. The River North and Lincoln Park-located taco spots will be open starting at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 1. In addition to the regular menu, Chef Edgar Torres will offer two special brunch tacos for $3 each: Carnitas-Pancake Taco (buttermilk pancake, confit pork shoulder, citrus chile maple syrup, powdered sugar) and Green Eggs 'n' Ham Taco (salsa verde scrambled eggs, grilled Canadian bacon, queso fresco, cilantro, flour tortilla).

Kick back and catch all of the college bowl games while sipping $6 Micheladas (Modelo Especial, lime, house-made sangrita, chile piquin rim), $7 Bloody Marias and $5 Mexican brews (Modelo Especial; Negra Modelo; Pacifico; Victoria; Corona Light). Taco Joint will be open from 11 a.m. to midnight on New Year's Day.
