Tesori Trattoria and Bar has launched a new beverage program that includes summer sippers, an addition to the Old Fashioned offerings, rotating wines on tap, the introduction of vino by the quartino and great craft brews.
The three new summer libations are: A Current Affair (Tito's vodka, Mathilde cassis blackcurrant liqueur, muddled blackberries, agave nectar, pineapple $12); Mulo Rosemarino (rosemary infused vodka, ginger, grapefruit, lime and simple syrup $13); and The Sophia Loren (amaro, mezcal, muddled strawberry, grapefruit, san pellegrino lemonita $13).
Tesori's Old Fashioned program pays homage to the restaurant's pre-prohibition legacy of former tenants, whiskey distillers Chapin and Gore and the Nepeenauk Bar. It has been reported that the Old Fashioned first appeared in The Bartender's Manual written by Theodore Proulx, who tended bar at Chapin and Gore. There are currently six Old Fashioned cocktails on the menu, including the newest addition, the Nel Sole, made with Bulleit bourbon 10yr, Aperol, Carpano and Suze ($14).
On tap at Tesori are rotating wine selections and craft brews. The newly featured wines on tap are: Rose; Pinot Grigio; Sauvignon Blanc; and Cabernet Sauvignon-Merlot Petite. The Trattoria and Bar now offers quartino pours (8.5oz, $14-$16) of on-tap vino.
Current draft brews include: Moody Tongue Applewood Gold; Forbidden Root Sublime Ginger; Vander Mill Blue Gold; Green Flash West Coast; rotating taps from Goose Island, Bell's and Founders ($7-$8). Tesori's commitment to craft beer continues with ever changing selections.
All of the new libations may be enjoyed at a discounted price during happy hour, taking place Monday through Friday, 4-6 p.m.; Saturday, 12-3 p.m.; and Sunday, 1-3 p.m. Tesori's happy hour specials include:
Monday: Pizza and any beer $10 Tuesday: Wine on tap $5 Wednesday: Wine by the glass $6 Thursday: Specialty cocktails $5 Friday: Sangria by the glass $5 Saturday & Sunday: Pizza and any wine by the glass $10
