Explained: New Prix Fixe Dinner at Le Sud

Le Sud is now offering a weekly prix fixe dinner option on Wednesday evenings. From 5-10 p.m., guests may enjoy three courses for $36. Executive Chef Michael Woodhall's menu features an hors d'oeuvre (salad; roasted carrots; Mediterranean olives), entree (trout almondine; steak frites; Provencal rabbit stew) and dessert (orange chocolate mousse; house made ice cream with shortbread cookies). Also on Wednesdays, happy hour is offered from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Specials include $6 glasses of wine (red, white, or rose) and a rotating cocktail of the day, Chef's small bite menu ($4 to $12) and a $4 menu for children (pasta, hamburger, grilled chicken with frites).
