New Happy Hour at Macello

Macello, located in the West Loop on Lake Street, has launched a new happy hour. Every Tuesday and Wednesday, the Italian ristorante will feature half-price appetizers and glasses of rose from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Guests may choose to relax in the colorful dining room or on the spacious back patio.

On Wednesdays, bottles of wine are featured at half price (11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.). Macello has just unveiled new glass wine carafes with taps, perfect for sharing amongst friends. At 7 p.m., live music is provided by the La Tosca band (Italo-jazz).

The wine will continue to flow on Thursday evenings, as Macello hosts their new "summer of wine" tasting event from 5:30-7 p.m. This complimentary happy hour gathering features a sampling of a red and a white wine, both from a different region of Italy each week (Piedmont, Sicily, Friuli and more).
