Schneider Deli’s brand-new Lincoln Park outpost, an offshoot of the original River North shop from husband-and-wife duo Jake and Ariel Schneider, is getting their drink on with their new happy hour Monday through Friday from 4 to 6 p.m., with bevs under $8 and deli-fied drinking food under $11.
The menu leans into hand-cut meats, including a Pastrami Reuben Quesadilla ($8) stuffed with kraut, melty Swiss and Russian dressing (a personal fave of Jake's) and Mini Meat Sliders ($11) piled high with your choice of corned beef, pastrami or turkey and served with a house-made pickle. Deviled Eggs ($6 for 6 pieces) + Onion Dip & Crackers ($5) round out the happy-hour exclusives as classic bar snacks with a deli twist.
To drink, there are bottles from Moody Tongue Brewery for $6 and Hopewell Brewing Co.'s Lil' Buddy Lager for $5. Pair a Lil' Buddy with a bagel and schmear for $8. Keep an eye out for Schneider's Bloody Mary, garnished with a mini-bagel, Vienna beef sticks, cheese, and pickles.
