Neversink Spirits, a craft spirits producer specializing in spirits made from apples has announced a distribution partnership with Selection Massale, Chicago. Selection Massale is an importer of natural wines with distribution centers across the country and many purveyors in Chicago.

Neversink Spirits flagship spirit is the eponymous Neversink Gin. Apples for Neversink Gin are sourced from a single orchard in New York State and the apple-base spirit is macerated with juniper berries for 24 hours before being distilled with eleven different botanicals including: juniper, coriander, cardamom, star anise, cinnamon, orris root, angelica root, elderflower and fresh orange, lemon and grapefruit peel. The result is a nuanced and delicate gin with a warm baking spice and notes of fresh citrus accenting the apple base.

The apple base ensures the weight of Neversink gin is ideal for gin cocktails such as a Martini, Clover Club and Worker Bee as well as Aviation, Bees Knees, Last Word.

Neversink Spirits’ founders, Noah Braunstein and Yoni Rabino, combined their passion for the apple with distilling know-how to create Neversink Gin. Talking of the focus on Chicago, co-founder, Yoni Rabino, said: “Chicago has so many great independent retailers, as well as bars and restaurants that celebrate home grown produce and champion quality and provenance, which made it a natural second city for us. To date we’ve focused on our home state of New York but we are really keen to bring our passion for apple-based spirits to a wider audience, and the feedback so far in Chicago has been great.”

Neversink believes in quality in, quality out. By sourcing the apples from a single orchard in New York, Neversink is able to fully verify the quality and provenance of the base ingredient for Neversink Gin, whilst minimizing its production footprint on the planet.
