What to watch: National Soup Month Specials at Chicagoland Restaurants
Chicago began to feel like true winter just in time for National Soup Month. Diners seeking a warm up can visit several Chicagoland restaurants that will be celebrating all month long with rotating soups and specials. Read on to find out which soups sound the tastiest to us!
Rotating Soups at Caffè RōM Guests can celebrate National Soup Month at Caffè RōM, the European-style caffé and Italian-inspired coffee bar with three downtown locations (in the Hyatt Center, in the Prudential Building, and at The Shoreham). They will be offering a variety of rotating seasonal soups, available from $4.95 to $6.05. A vegan and/or vegetarian option will always be available, and examples of the rotating soup flavors include Roasted Tomato Bisque, Cream of Carrot & Asparagus, Potato Escarole, Tomato Chickpea, Chicken Tortilla and more.

Ramen Special at MAK Chicagoans can warm up for National Soup Month this January at MAK (1924 W. Division) and enjoy their new MAK Ramen for $10. The ramen features tender grass fed beef, bok choy, carrots, green onion, hardboiled egg and flour noodles in a savory beef broth.
Lobster Corn Bisque at Riva Crab House
Lobster Bisque at 437 Rush Phil Stefani's 437 Rush (437 N. Rush St.) celebrates National Soup Month all month long with a Lobster Bisque soup available daily for $9 at lunch or $10 at dinner.
Daily Soups at Riva Crab House In honor of National Soup Month, Riva Crab House (700 E. Grand Ave.) will feature a selection of daily soups created by Executive Chef Luigi Garcia like Riva Clam Chowder (New England style, fresh clam meat; $7 lunch and $8 dinner) and Lobster Corn Bisque (sherry, brandy, Maine lobster; $9 lunch and dinner).
Diners can warm up with soup at all Tuscany Restaurant locations.
Daily Soup Selection at Tuscany Restaurants Guests can celebrate National Soup Month with traditional Minestrone ($6 lunch, $7 dinner) and Pasta e Fagioli ($6 lunch, $7 dinner) at Tuscany Restaurant this January. All three Tuscany Restaurants, located in Chicago (1014 W. Taylor St.), Oak Brook (1415 W. 22nd St.) and Wheeling (550 S. Milwaukee Ave.), will be offering the soups in January.
