Three restaurants around town will raise a glass to national Sangria Day on Friday, December 20, details below.
Artango Bar and Steakhouse will feature red sangria by the glass for $7 (regularly $9), and pitchers of sangria for $25 (regularly $30). In addition, Happy Hour takes places from 5-7 p.m., offering $7 glasses of red or white wine, $7 caipirinhas, mojitos and margaritas, $4 domestic brews and $9 bar bites.
Cantina Laredo will put a spotlight on their seasonal Blood Orange Sangria made with Solerno Blood Orange Liqueur, Burgundy, orange juice and ginger beer ($8.25). Happy Hour takes place from 3:30-6:30 p.m., featuring $4 domestic beer, $5 imported brews, $6 well cocktails, $6 wines by the glass, and $7 Casa 'Ritas.
Timothy O'Toole's Pub will offer a special Winter White Sangria (white sangria, seasonal fruit, rosemary sprig) for $8. Happy Hour is held from 3-6 p.m., with such choices as: $3 domestic drafts; $3.50 domestic bottles; $4 select craft drafts; $5 well mixed drinks; and $6 house wine Cellar 8.
